Shield Plus woes

Hey everyone,

So I'll keep those quick and short. I am a Glock person. I carry a 19 everywhere all the time and it's really hot where I live so I decided to get a shield plus and it was used online. Then when I got it I realized that the magazine doesn't like to drop free and I was trying to figure out what was wrong. The texture on the magazine holds the magazine into the mag well against the palm of my hand. Should I sand down the magazine so it's smooth or retrain how to change mags. Has anyone else had this issue?

This guy, is awesome. Ships fast, he talks to you extremely timely when trading. He's fair, and honest. I've bought from him before and will continue to in the future. I trust him immensely and I will consult with him whenever I look to buy again. Thanks for being such an upstanding seller.

Gx4 for ccw safe or no?

I've been looking at the gx4 for concealed carry as an option cuz the price is right but I was wondering. I've seen a lot of people say that these are not safe to carry due to the recall. I was wondering what was the result of it a few years ago? Are these pistols safe now or no?

Echelon question

I'm a Glock person through and through. They've always been my carry gun and I love them. I own a 19 and 26 never really been a fan of the slimmer 9mm models though. I like my guns to be compatible with each other. But the echelon and Springfield armory keeps catching my eye. I had an XDS a long time ago and it was...okay. The hellcat is too snappy for me (yes I know a 9mm too snappy) and it just feels weird to shoot. People keep telling me the echelon is the new Glock, get the echelon as a carry gun you'll never carry a Glock again. The trigger is better etc. which echelon is the better multi use gun for both carry and HD/range fun? Does it really live up to the hype?

What are your stacking goals?

So, currently I'm trying to fill my ASE tube. I'm @ 12 of 20 right now. I wanted to know what other people's goals are because I was thinking of starting a Maple leaf tube, or something. I want to alternate between the ASE and another sovereign coin until I have two monster boxes. Which sovereign coin would be good or what do you stack?

New Silver Day

This Angel Coin is gorgeous. Also, I like how SD Bullion uses a funeral service for their return address which is very classic.

Need some recommendations

Hey everyone,

Hope you're all having a good day. I am currently on book 2 of the three body problem, I enjoy these type of books granted the names are kind of hard to follow but I enjoy a good sci-fi book.

I've gone through so many books now I don't really know where to go from here. I also love Carl Hiaasen the humor is great. What do you guys suggest? Preferably something that takes a while to get through, humorous if possible, and a good narrator. I'll drop my list of reads already so you can see what I've been through.

The three body problem

Dark Forest

All works of Carl Hiaasen

All works of Christopher Moore

Scythe Series

Everything by John Scalzi

Everything by Ernest Cline

Issac Steele and the Best idea In The universe

Everything by A.American

The Final Days trilogy

Everything by Yahtzee Croshaw

Everything by Dennis E. Taylor

Dune series (didn't care for it BTW)

Project Hail Mary

The Martian

Artemis

Mickey 17

Lotr

Harry Potter

All of these are my already listened too plus a lot of history stories and non fiction. But I'm not in that mood right now.

What do you guys suggest me read next? Thank you guys for your help. I appreciate it.

Mint Builder.com yay or nay?

Been looking around for different sites that sell at or close to spot for ASE's found MintBuilder and their prices are good. "Reviews" are good but that only goes so far. I want to know is this website trustworthy or not? If yay cool. If nay please explain like you would a highschooler cuz I am new to the scene and want to learn more.

-Thanks,

Lonestar

I have a question about trading for Gold from Silver

I really like the r/pmsforsale sub those guys and girls are awesome. And one day when I finish my ASE monster box or tubes I'd like to also start building a stack of generic rounds in tubes. Once I get to the GSR I find acceptable can I WTT post on that Sub and trade out my Silver for an ounce or 1/4 of gold?

Ideas on how to hang this roll up Jpole

So a while back my neighbor asked me to please take down my trees in my back yard. I obliged to his wishes and in doing so I lost my "mount" for my 2m/70cm Jpole. I still have this one pole chilling here since I had a dipole HF setup but it sits unused. I would like to use it but it's EMT conduit and I think it'll throw off the SWR if I hang the Jpole from it. I have no trees near by anymore. Don't really want to buy another antenna when I have one sitting here. What you guys do?

Does this ASE have any numismatic value other than the melt value?

So I got this '91 ASE from someone else. It's slabbed obviously and all of my ASEs are going into tubes for bullion storage. I was wondering if this particular one has any value in a slab or if it can be removed to just go with the others. I know the choice is mine but I don't want to ruin anything.

New Silver to me Day

I was in the LCS this afternoon and we were talking about toned vs Shiny perfect bullion and the owner pulled this Britannia out. She said it was sitting in a black paper flip since her dad got it new. Normally I'm one for shiny perfect as possible BU bullion, but this one was just a stunner and I just had to have it.

u/lonestar2222003 — 2 months ago

I'm new to this, as I posted before. My goals are trying to be realistic. Buying 1 or 2 ASEs a check But with tech on the rise and data centers left and right popping up like weeds do any of you guys potentially see a good low again on silver? I want to be able to stack but if silver gets too 100+ and stays again idk if I'll be able to stack consistently. I've been watching the numbers the last few weeks and it dips and jumps but it keeps inching closer and closer to 85.

Penny for your thoughts?
