Facial pain, redness, and extreme sensitivity after years of eczema/acne treatment

I’m a teenager and I really need some insight or advice on what might be happening with my skin.

Growing up, I had childhood eczema and always struggled with itchy skin. As I became a teenager, it seemed to turn into acne marks and dark patches. I’ve been to many of the best doctors in my city over the last 3 years. One doctor explicitly ruled out atopic dermatitis.

After 3 years of continuous treatment, the visible marks and dark patches have mostly lightened and my skin looks relatively "normal" to others. I've used products from Babe Skincare, Clinikally, Moleculaire, and others. I was also prescribed Fucibet and other topical steroids.

Even though the visual marks are mostly gone, my skin feels awful. I have severe pain, burning, and redness. My face automatically turns bright red and it is incredibly dry. The itching is intense, even though I actively avoid touching my face. My skin feels like it has zero tolerance for anything right now.

Has anyone experienced severe nerve-like pain and automatic redness after stopping or using topical steroids? Could this be a severely damaged skin barrier, topical steroid withdrawal (TSW), or something else like neurogenic rosacea?

I am fed up and exhausted. Any advice on what questions I should ask my next dermatologist, or what helped you soothe the pain, would be deeply appreciated.

"Text me when you get home" at night is a sad sentence when you really think about it

I had a random thought today.

So many men tell the women they care about, "Text me when you get home safely."

Not because they're scared of the dark.

Not because they think she'll get lost.

But because they're scared of what another man could do.

That's what makes this sentence so sad.

No, it's not "all men." Most men are good people. But if this is something so many people instinctively say, doesn't that also acknowledge that the fear women talk about is real?

This isn't meant to blame men. I just think it's heartbreaking that such a normal, caring sentence exists because of fear in the first place.

What do you guys think?

Students using CTU, should I switch? Need honest opinions.

I'm a student, and I'm seriously thinking of switching to CTU because I'm completely fed up with my current bus service.

Before I do, I wanted to hear from people who actually use CTU every day. What are the real pros and cons? Is it reliable enough for daily travel, especially if you depend on it to get home on time?

My experience with CTU hasn't been great so far. I've only used it 3 times, and not once did the bus arrive on time. The worst experience was when I ended up waiting until around 9 pm because the bus never showed up. The app kept glitching, so I couldn't even tell where the bus was or if it had been cancelled. Standing alone at a bus stop at night with no idea whether the bus is coming or not honestly felt really unsafe and frustrating.

I'm hoping I was just unlucky, because a lot of people recommend CTU. Is this something that happens often, or are most routes actually reliable? Also, is getting the smart card worth it, and is there anything a student should know before switching?

I'd really appreciate honest opinions from people who travel daily. I don't want to switch and end up regretting it.

How do I make my KZ EDX Pro X have insane bass

i own KZ EDX Pro X and I mainly listen to hip hop and bass heavy music. Im using Wavelet and tried the Bass Boost preset but it still doesnt hit as hard as I want.

Does anyone have EQ settings that make these sound stupidly bassy without completely ruining the vocals? Im fine with sacrificing some clarity if the bass slaps.

If you use Wavelet or Poweramp EQ drop your settings or screenshots. Also if theres anything else I can do to get more bass out of these let me know.
