I composed 11 comparison shots of some differences between the teaser, 1st trailer, and featurette ("2nd trailer")

When the teaser came out, they had JUST finished filming, and some people were already hating on how the arena wasn't colourful enough. Since then, they have done more editing to add more flowers, up the saturation, make things pop, etc. (I'm sure there are more minor differences, but these are just the ones I'm sharing)

Which lines are you excited to hear him say in the movie?

I think we can pretty much confirm that the birds that killed Maysilee were not flamingos now, unless the Capitol did some wicked modifications to them.

Since the description of them in Catching Fire, I have always personally believed that the mutts that killed Maysilee were scarlet ibises, not flamingos.

Now even Mckenna herself has joked about flamingos (the one video at the zoo, for example) and most of the fandom always painted them as versions of flamingos.

But I've always silently stuck with an opposing belief. Especially because I think it is much more likely that Haymitch saw ibises in District 12, not flamingos.

I think the description of long beaks is mostly what fueled by belief though. I've only seen a few other posts on this subreddit throughout the years that mentioned the possibility of them being scarlet ibises.

Now, one can assume the birds Haymitch saw at the lake im District 12 were american white ibises since he said "Not cool blue gray, not paper white, but the color of bubblegum sold at the Donner Sweet Shop," assuming that the ones he normally sees are white/gray and these were made pink for Maysilee specifically, but the closest real life animal one can get to these mutts is the scarlet ibis.

Do you still think they are modified flamingo mutts? Or can we all agree that they are scarlet ibis mutts?

I am happy to announce that since my last post, which was only 8 days ago, Louis' show at Scotiabank Arena has sold HUNDREDS (maybe thousands??) of more tickets! How is this even possible?!

Below is what's left now, and to see the difference you can visit my other post where there were A LOT more blue dots.

Hopefully as we near closer to the show, more and more blue dots will disappear and we can have a full stadium!

Or... is something else going on? Did they take tickets of sale? Did they take away the 300 level? It just seems odd that in a week, all that is gone...

I've heard that cheap sunglasses can actually damage your vision and do worse to your eyes than not wearing sunglasses at all. I am looking for a pair like this mainly as a fashion piece, but I still want them to do good for my eyes and not give me a headache. These have very darkened lenses but I doubt they have any uv protection.

It's important to note that these are small frame glasses because I know there are lots in this style that are really big and don't fit my face proportions. The sizing is on the 2nd attachment if that helps.

Not worried about pricing btw!

In a tutorial for eye makeup that I wanted to follow for a concert, they used this palette. However, it's from the UK only and is not available in Canada :(

Are their any similar (and affordable) palettes with colours like this?

I want this top for a concert but it's from shein and it's part of Curve which is their plus size line. I can't find anything similar :(

As you can see, we bought these bananas a few days ago and they have been in the bag since. Today, I go to take them out and I'm faced with this...

I didn't even know it was possible for them to mold on the stem. Why did this happened? Are they still safe to eat?

So for this summer, I want to try clusters. I am not able to get these strip lashes anymore so they are my last pair. Plus, clusters last longer so it would save me time.

I don't know much about lash maps and I'm trying to find a way/advide on how to do lash clusters that look similar to the strips I wear. I may want them a bit less heavy than these though so they look slightly more natural

I've watched and dissected this trailer frame hy frame a hundred times and it was only today that I just realized Caesar's laugh after Haymitch's line is from his Victor interview after the games which is why he the has art of himself (from the victor poster we saw in the bts) displayed.

Figuring out what dimensions the paper needs to be and how to make that diamond shape is what's puzzling me the most :(

I wanna do a ladybug theme but I'm not sure if that's weird.

I am gonna take inspo from these pinterest collages.

I am thinking of doing a red and black polka dot shirt of some type, ladybug clips for my hair, black tights with black dots, and idk what I'm gonna do for bottoms or shoes yet.

Any ideas? Or am I totally misreading the vibe for the outfits this tour...

It's my first Noah Kahan concert (June 28th in Toronto!!)

This is an old magic bullet lid I found...

This is my girl, Lou Lou! (I’ve posted about her a few times already.) I’ve only had her for two weeks, and I’ve only tried choice-based handling twice, and today was a success!

So, story time: I had just come home and saw her standing in her calcium dish, just staring at the front of the tank lol. I decided to put my hand on top of the cork bark, and within a minute, she started climbing up it. She was wary of my hand. She stared at it for about two minutes, then turned away and tried to climb out of the enclosure herself, reaching her tiny hands toward the opening. So I inched the bark closer so she could get her front legs onto the ledge. When I saw she wanted to climb out, I put my hand right in front so she could step onto it.

And she did! She got halfway onto my hand, with her two back legs and tail still in the tank, and stayed like that for about a minute before deciding to crawl all the way on. My hands were shaking, I felt so bad! Then she just chilled there for a few minutes. I didn’t know if or when she wanted to go back into her enclosure, so I put my hand back in while holding her, and after around four minutes, she climbed back onto the cork bark.

Anyway, that’s my story of my first successful attempt at choice-based handling!

I held her once at the store but she was placed into my hand of course (she immediately started licking me and was super friendly). They said she was super chill and didn't mind being held so I didn't suspect it to take very long for her to get comfortable crawling onto my hand :)

(Her sign at the store said "I've been here too long, take me home 50% off regular price! I am a very sweet, chill, and laid back dude :) I would do well with kids too!")
