I’ve been on the hunt for this chocolate frosting glaze craze for weeks now, ever since I saw another post on this sub about it. Have YOU ever seen it IRL at your local Marshall’s/TJM?

Yesterday I was allowed by a wonderful associate to dig through their new shipment of makeup and it wasn’t there. They had SO many other great balms but not the chocolate frosting. Was that other poster a unicorn? Or is it actually available in stores?

It’s in the toss pile. Should I save it from its misery? Original price is $300+ on the website.

Looking for inspo and want to try more combos.

I’ve been lucking out on a ton of Le Creuset finds recently of all different colors. Today I came across this stunning flame casserole set. The casserole retailed for $79 and the tray next to it I think was $35. If only I had room in my kitchen 🫠

Thank you to the person that posted about it being live on the Target site this morning. I did the drive up pick up within an hour of ordering.

First impressions - thick, soft, not sticky or slippery. Great feeling and long lasting. The metal applicator is just like Eadem’s. The scent is subtle and not overwhelming like Laneige, Glossier or Milk.

HOWEVER, my main gripe is that they’re very sheer. I got the two darkest shades and the tint barely shows up on my lips. In the photo I am wearing cocoa crème with multiple layers (as many as I could stand). That is as tinted as I could get it. The berry macaron doesn’t even show a tint on my lips. It’s so sheer that even after several swipes my lips didn’t even change color.

Would I recommend these? Yes for the experience and feeling only. Definitely wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a tinted balm. In that case, that’s where these are not like Eadem. At least with Eadem I’m able to get a great color payoff within one swipe.

My hunt continues for a great pink tinted balm. Open to reccs :)

Going to a fancy outdoor wedding and this is my gown. I’m finally getting contacts which means I can finally buy some sunglasses 😄.

I’m at a loss on what to get and what will look good with this dress. My face is an oval shape so I can usually wear any shape/style. What would you recommend I get that pairs well with this dress?

Hi! I’m back, and I’d love your opinion on these dresses. The venue is a palace in Western Europe. It’ll be an outdoor wedding and the ceremony starts at 2pm. The bride requested “long, light colored elegant formal dresses”.

Which one do you like best? :)

I feel like their paper goods are a hidden gem. There are SO many amazing quality cards, gifts, and paper goods at their stores at all times. But now a ton of them are red tagged. There’s also a bounty of Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day, and holiday cards on clearance. Perfect time to stock up. Also, so many totes, craft kits, puzzles and so on.

If your love language are giving or receiving gifts, check out their clearance aisle for their paper goods 😄

Ivory Irida Maxi Dress by the Wolf Gang. Original price $350, marked down to $90. It’s stunning in person. This would make such a great rehearsal dinner dress, bridal shower dress, or a fabulous European vacation dinner dress 😍

Found at the TJM at the arboretum in Austin, TX.

My parents gifted these mugs full price to my husband last month (in a beautiful green color) and paid $25 each 🙈. It’s wild to me these are red tagged for $8.

The mug wasn’t chipped or scratched and it was in perfect condition. Unfortunately it was the only one in store. If there were two I may have bought it (or gifted them). I think the reason it’s discounted is because of those two blue paint dots on the inside. But aside from that, this is a gorgeous mug.

Have you found any other Le Creuset goodies at your local store?

Minus the shoes which were not red tagged but I’ve been searching for some dressier sneakers for a while and these are SO comfy. Brand is Dolce Vita. Regular priced DV sneakers go for an average of $130. (And yes I know the tag ends in 1 which means it was made exclusively for TJM but idc).

The ring surprised me. It doesn’t look mega cheap in person and I’m super picky about jewelry. It’ll go great on the days I decide to wear silver jewelry :)

I can’t wait until the yellow tag sale 😝

Update: the women’s sundress will be returned. It didn’t work with my bust 😔. So bummed because the color is stunning in person and the dress is SO pretty and 100% cotton.

It’s a fancy European wedding and the dress code is one step below black tie (as per the bride). It’s at a palace on the first week of September. She requested long dresses in light colors for the ladies. Ceremony starts at 2pm in the garden.

My husband doesn’t like the dress and wants me to return it. He says it’s “too frilly and girlish” and “makes you look like a little girl”.

I disagree and believe the gown is elegant enough and perfect for a formal outdoor European event.

What are your thoughts?

Edit: I also plan to lose a couple of pounds so the top is a little less snug.

Edit 2: I promise my husband was just critiquing the dress itself. He has no issue with me showing skin 🙈. He’s just not a fan of the dress and thinks I could look better in something else. This is his pick.

I’m pretty sure I’ve reached maintenance at this point, since my body refuses to lose more weight. I’ve only lost 2 lbs in the last 7 months despite increasing my dose multiple times.

Question: now that my BMI is in the normal range, how do I continue ordering meds on maintenance? Don’t I have to state I’m still overweight to place orders?

This dress is the perfect color of mustard yellow. If it was my size, I probably would have bought it. It’s gorgeous in person and immediately made me think of Beyoncé’s iconic Roberto Cavalli yellow dress from the “Hold Up” music video. IYKYK.

Update: it wasn’t meant to be ☹️. I went back to look for it and it was gone. I asked multiple associates and no one could find it. Le sigh. It was a damn cool find.

Bought the whole Samsonite set today on clearance. HOWEVER, they were all priced the same ($80) regardless of size, which made ZERO sense to me. I asked the manager to double check and she just went 🤷🏻‍♀️. So the largest size is the same price as the carry on 🙃.

Anyway, these are SO light and they roll like a dream. Hopefully they survive our multiple trips to Europe this year ✈️

Went into TJM today for a quick browse and ended up spending one hour on skincare alone and found some goodies!

My TJM was stocking and clearing the shelves like crazy. I’m guessing they’re preparing for the yellow tag sale? 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I’m especially excited for the Skin1004 travel kit. It includes: cleansing oil, foaming cleanser, toner, ampoule and moisturizer. Absolutely perfect for my upcoming trip ✈️.

The total retail price for all these items is $238 and I paid $102.78 💅🏼. The most expensive item by far is the Biossance moisturizer which retails for $54 and I paid $10 🤯. And yes, I checked the item and it was brand new and sealed inside. It was discounted because the box was dirty 😅.

I just managed to find the Topicals papaya slick salve at TJMax and I love the formula. It’s basically exactly like Cocokind (IMO). The color is unique and I don’t have any color like it in my collection.

I just went down a rabbit hole on topicals and apparently they go bad within a month?!

I’m really hoping this has been fixed, but if you own a topicals balm, did you have the same mildewy experience? ☹️ how long did it take until it turned moldy?

Feeling so bummed. Need some hopeful stories.
