Suck at parking, is 360 degree camera worth it or is parking sensor enough?

I can reverse park just fine since I can look at the mirror to line up a car, but not so much for forward parking (head in). The car I'm looking at adds an extra 4k for a trim with 360 degree camera, so I'm wondering if the parking sensor is just enough. Obviously this is very subjective, but I would like to hear from people who have used parking sensor before - does it help a lot with parking?

How to recreate Creamy Mushroom Sauce

How do I recreate the creamy mushroom sauce without the “white base sauce” since I don’t have that on hand? I see people said to add mushroom base - will any kind do? (I’m looking at the Better Than Bouillon mushroom base).

Low Height & Deep desk?

Hi all, I'm looking for a desk with the following features:

  • MOST IMPORTANT: Low Height (at most 25")
  • Deep (at least 30")
  • One piece (can forgo as long as the final assembly is almost or perfectly seamless)

Some note,

  • L shape would be great, but can be horizontal.
  • It doesn't need to be height adjustable or even electric operated, as long as it meets the above height requirement
  • I would prefer it to be under $500

I found most desks online to be too tall and shallow, or they are so outrageously expensive :( any help would be appreciated!!

Can I actually pay off a car loan immediately, rather than having to wait a few days/weeks?

We know that car dealers prefer you finance rather than pay cash in order to earn interest. I saw some people posted online saying after making sure there is no prepayment penalty, they went with financing and then paying the loan in full immediately to avoid paying the interest along with getting the discount that comes from agreeing to finance with the dealer. I also saw some need to wait a few weeks before being able to pay it off.

Is there any way to know before signing the contract if you can pay off the car loan immediately, rather than having to wait a few billing cycles? The difference in interest from paying immediately vs after a few weeks might not be substantial, but I would like to know is there a way to this, if possible.

Afraid to ask questions at work

Today I have training on a new system and task. There were four people besides me, some already familiar with the workflow while others don’t, but since I’m the newest member I’m the one with the least clue as to what this is all about. To me four people is too many to ask questions/speak up in front of. I think my manager notices this and I’m really afraid she will get annoyed. There are many times in the past where I mustered up the courage to ask only to blank out and not actually listening what they just said since I’m busy worrying whether I just asked stupid questions. The reason why I think they are stupid is because a lot of time they don’t understand what I’m asking, even after explaining my point of confusion. Or I asked a question and they are like you don’t really need to worry about that which makes me feel I just asked an irrelevant question. I know it’s very critical to ask questions but I can’t just bring myself to. I can’t stop caring about what others think of me and my questions. I would really appreciate any advice on how to overcome this.

Accidentally overstated my work speed

I’m one month into my job and today my boss decided to time how fast I work on a particular task, and I told her the wrong stats by accident. I said I completed twice the number of items than I actually did, since I forgot to account for those that I put on hold as the process for completing them is a bit different than the other items. She seemed pretty surprised, said that’s fast and thank me. I realized I told her the wrong thing a few minutes later. Should I apologize or let her know that it was wrong? There’s not really a way for her to actually tell how fast I work except actually looking at my computer, but she just go by what I told her. I’m worried if she will find out later on one way or another and get disappointed.

PANEL interview???

I don't see people talk about panel interview much in this sub. How do you guys manage them? I'm talking about interviewing with hiring manager and a few would-be colleagues. I think it is harder than 1 on 1 since you are being judged by multiple people at once. Any tips or just experience you would like to share?

Can this skirt be hemmed without losing the bottom pattern?

Sorry if this is not the right place to ask as I am not someone who sew but I saw this skirt online and I want to know if it can possibly be hemmed by a tailor without losing the bottom pattern before I buy it

I'm meeting my closest friend tomorrow, normally I am pretty excited but she is bringing 2 other friends. She did tell me others are coming which I appreciate but I am so nervous. They all work in the same workplace so they have a lot in common to talk about, so I can imagine I will have nothing much to say and just awkwardly sit beside them. This has happened to me before and it feels horrible so right now I'm stressing about tomorrow :/
