Hey guys, so quick overview of the situation. My friend and I have been friends for around 15 years. The other day, she was feeling low so she asked me to come hang out. I immediately came over after uni, even though I was tired. She was asking me to go out for drinks, and have some fun. I didn’t want to, but in the end I felt bad for her and decided to go out with her.
She had no money, which she didn’t tell me at the time. I ended up spending $150+ on both of us, buying dinner and multiple drinks. Which is a-lot for a uni student who only works 10 hours a week. In the end we both started to feel the alcohol and she told me we should go home to hers for wine.
We went back to her house and her boyfriend came over about 2minutes after, to then which she promptly told me in these words “You need to leave”
I was a-bit shook, but I went home. Just to hear the next day from her roommate that her and her other friends ended up drinking throughout the night anyways and stayed up till 4 in the morning.
I told her that Im not coming to her house again, and that i’m unsure if i want to continue the friendship as I felt used.
Maybe I am overreacting as looking at the situation it wasn’t that huge of a deal, but it hurt my feelings and my bank account.
Hey everyone, I have been using AfterPay for around 1 year now. I feel like i’ve used it quite a-lot. I have never missed a payment, and buy big purchases. My limit however has never gone up from $600, honestly its probably a good thing as it means I wont ever have a bill thats to big to handle but i’m just confused, as my friend who has used it much less than me has a limit of $2500, but the only thing I have received is not needing to pay first.
Im just curious on why this is, as we’re both 19. Never had like bad credit score, and only debt we are in is university fees lol.
Hey everyone, I just wanted to come share my experience as a warning to others..
Im a uni design student who is always looking for free website background removers, and around a month ago I found creative fabrica and signed up for a free trial.
my subscription became stuck in a “Subscription Activating” state. Because of this, I couldn’t cancel it normally through the website. Their help page instructed users in this situation to contact support by email, so on May 4 I emailed them and specifically requested that my subscription be cancelled before the June renewal date.
I never received a response.
Because I was concerned about being charged (broke student lol) I set alarms on my phone to remind myself to check the account and follow up. I also remember going back and canceling through the website after support ignored my email, but I never received any confirmation that the cancellation had actually been processed.
Despite all of this, I was later charged around US$60 (over $100 in my currency).
The only reason I was able to get my money back was because I still had the original email proving that I had requested cancellation more than a month before the renewal date. After opening a PayPal dispute and contacting support again, Creative Fabrica acknowledged my original cancellation request, refunded me, and confirmed that the subscription had been cancelled.
My advice:
Keep copies of all cancellation emails.
Take screenshots of any cancellation attempts.
Cancel any recurring PayPal payments separately.
Check your account carefully around renewal dates.
I did eventually get my refund, but the process was stressful and took far more effort than it should have.
Looking at hundreds of others experiences, most haven’t been able to get the refund due to the sites tricky systems.. Honestly just avoid this site completely, but this is my advice if you do happen to use it or are in a similar situation.
So I feel like hamilton is missing a really good sandwich place with fresh ingredients and deli meets, so I always end up making my own.. but my recipes are getting boring. What is your guys favourite sandwich recipe?
Hey everybody, I was just wondering if this happens to anybody else. I have had my piercing for 7ish months now, I don’t have any issues with bumps etc, however I work in a makeup store so I need to wear makeup everyday, I find even if I wash my face clean, and remove all the makeup etc, the skin surrounding it is always dry and flakey. I don’t use saline solution anymore, just because I found that after I stopped getting irritation bumps, the constant cleaning was just irritating it more so I stopped, however its just extremely dry and flakey all the time, i don’t have this issue anywhere else on my face and the other side of my nose is fine! Has anybody else had this issue? and how did you fix it 😁
Ps, im not sure if makeup is the issue, but I find its more flakey on days where I have to wear makeup, and I usually do try avoid the piercing area anyways, but it just doesn’t look as nice when I do, and I try to have my makeup looking nice everyday so others trust me to help them with their makeup etc
