I understand the need for clickbait titles in an era where print is struggling, but this is so absurd and out of touch.

Nvidia has been one of the only companies raking in real profits off of the gen AI boom, which has in turn been built on the idea that you can replace workers with AI, because ultimately the only real value this particular flavor of AI has to the majority of organizations is the prospect of headcount reduction. This is a concept that the manufacturing sector is all too familiar with.

To then turn around and say that this is actually because they offer less perks to their workers, regardless of what the "nuance" may be, is insane. Workers don't want your perks. They want housing, food, healthcare, and stability. Nvidia's sudden rise to absurd levels of wealth is fundamentally built on a promise that other companies may eventually be able to remove workers out of the equation. Free lunch has nothing to do with it.

The fact that I saw the meme on the left posted with absolutely no reference to Andor goes to show how universal the message the show carries is. RIP Brasso.
