HELP! Speed 400 not starting after bike wash - ticking/clicking sound

When I press the starter button, I can hear a ticking/clicking sound, but the engine isn't cranking/starting.

The bike was working fine before the wash. I noticed this issue immediately afterwards.

What should I check first, and is there anything I can safely try before taking it to the service centre?

Edit 1: Battery is okay got it checked

Pushing the bike is turning it on but then after keeping it for 15min on and turning off it and on it didn't work

Edit 2: SC told the grounding issue in the circuit, cleaned the grounding points, took them 10 15 mins! Working smoothly now!

What platform do you use to analyze Indian ETFs before investing?

I'm planning to shift most of my future investments towards ETFs instead of stocks and want to do proper research before investing.

The problem is that I haven't found a platform that provides comprehensive ETF analysis. Most apps seem to focus on stocks or mutual funds, while ETF data is often quite limited.

I'm looking for a platform or website that can provide things like:

\\- Comparison between similar ETFs

\\- similar sectors etfs analysis

\\- Good etf filters

\\- Tracking error and tracking difference

\\- Expense ratio

\\- AUM

\\- Liquidity, trading volume, and bid-ask spread

\\- Holdings and sector allocation

\\- Historical performance

\\- Any other useful insights you consider before investing

What do you personally use for ETF research? Do you rely on a single platform, or a combination of websites?

Would love to hear what experienced ETF investors use and why.

Bangalore musicians, help me choose my first guitar!

I've finally decided to stop saying "one day I'll learn guitar" and actually buy one.

I'm a complete beginner. Never played any instrument before, but I've always loved music and have wanted to learn guitar for years. Now I'm planning to get my first guitar and start learning seriously.

Budget: around ₹10k (can stretch a little if it's genuinely worth it).

A few questions for experienced players:

- Which acoustic guitar would you recommend for a complete beginner?

- Is buying online okay or should I visit stores and try a few first?

- If you're in Bangalore, which stores have knowledgeable staff and a good collection?

- What should I check before buying a guitar? (action, neck, tuning stability, etc.)

- Any beginner mistakes you wish someone had warned you about?

- Are there any upcoming sales or good times of the year to get deals on guitars?

Also curious to know:

How many of you bought a guitar thinking you'd learn and actually stuck with it? 😄

Would love to hear your recommendations, regrets, lessons learned, and any tips for someone just starting out.

Been cooking almost every day since June, and honestly, I get why people enjoy it now 🙂‍↕️

Since June, I've been trying to cook most of my meals myself. The main reason was pretty simple: I'm vegetarian, trying to increase my protein intake, and got tired of depending on outside food all the time.

I won't lie, the first few weeks were chaotic. I've undercooked things, overcooked things, forgotten ingredients halfway through, and somehow managed to dirty every utensil in the kitchen for a meal that took 15 minutes to make.

But somewhere along the way, cooking stopped feeling like a chore and started becoming something I actually look forward to.

A few days back I cooked these homemade protein-rich veg burgers. The photo won't justify the taste 🤌🏻

One thing I've noticed is that cooking teaches you random life lessons. You become more patient. You start planning ahead. You realise that "I'll just cook something quickly" is one of the biggest lies ever told. And then there were the days where I confidently followed a recipe and somehow ended up inventing a completely different dish.

Curious to hear from others:

\- What's your go-to quick protein-rich meal?

\- Any cooking hacks that genuinely made life easier?

\- What's the funniest mistake you've made in the kitchen?

\- What's something you only realised after you started cooking regularly?

\- Any YouTube channels, Instagram pages, or creators you follow for simple, healthy recipes?

And if you've recently started cooking too, how's it going so far?

Would love to hear some stories. I have a feeling every regular cook has at least one disaster story they're secretly proud of. 😄

TL;DR: Started cooking almost daily since June to support a high-protein vegetarian diet. Made these homemade protein burgers today. Looking for quick recipes, cooking hacks, funny kitchen disasters, and creators you follow for healthy meal ideas.

what mileage are you getting in the city?

I've s Speed 400, and been tracking mine tank-to-tank since the beginning and it's averaging around 18 km/l.

My riding style is probably a big factor here 😅. In city traffic, whenever I see an opening, I tend to throttle through it and enjoy the bike. I'm not really interested in riding it like a commuter just to maximize mileage.

I mostly fill up with normal Indian Oil petrol, with XP95 once in a while.

For those riding primarily in the city:

- What's your tank-to-tank mileage?

- Do you ride aggressively or calmly?

- Have you found any practical ways to improve mileage without giving up the fun factor?

Just trying to understand whether 18 km/l is normal for my riding style or if there's something I can do to improve it while still enjoying those throttle-happy moments.

1 year progress post in a sub full of absolute units

Height: 5’7”

Weight: 81 kg → 70 kg

Body Fat: ~16.5% currently

Been training consistently for around a year now. Started mainly to get rid of the skinny-fat look and build a lean athletic physique. Still nowhere near the muscle lean folks here, but happy that I finally have some shape and definition now

Current routine:

- Push / Pull / Legs / Rest

- Vegetarian diet + 1 scoop whey daily

- Protein intake: around 110g

- Calories: ~2000/day

I mainly focused on consistency.

Didn’t follow extreme diets or complicated plans, just tried staying disciplined with workouts and protein intake.

Posting front + back progress pics for feedback from the experienced bros here:

- How does the current progress look for 1 year?

- What should be my next step moving forward?

- Lean bulk or continue cutting a bit more?

- Any weak points I should focus on?

Goal is to build a solid athletic physique and look good naturally in fitted tees/shirts without getting overly bulky.

Any advice/suggestions would genuinely help 🙌

How do introverts in Bangalore actually make genuine friends as adults?

Lately I’ve realized how much friendships change after college. Most of my close friends either got busy with work/life or moved to different cities, and somewhere along the way my social circle became… almost non-existent.

The thing is, I’m an introvert and I genuinely find it difficult to approach people or randomly start conversations. I can talk well once I’m comfortable, but breaking that initial barrier feels impossible sometimes.

Weekdays are mostly work-home-repeat, and weekends end up being either solo bike rides, movies, or just staying in scrolling endlessly. Bangalore is full of people, yet somehow it can feel weirdly lonely.

I did look into clubs and communities around the city because that’s the advice most people give, but while reading experiences online, I noticed many people saying that even in those groups there are already established inner circles. As someone who already struggles socially, the thought of joining and still feeling left out honestly feels intimidating.

For people who were in a similar phase:

\- How did you start socializing again?

\- How do introverts make genuine friends as adults?

\- Did clubs/communities actually help, or did you find better ways to connect with people here?

Not looking for anything fancy honestly. Just good people, meaningful conversations, and maybe friendships that don’t disappear after one meetup :)

What will happen if I don't get it washed?

Why do they always decide to dig up roads during the rainy season?

Can’t even reach home without turning the ride into a full on mud rally adventure.

Now my bike looks like it survived an off-road expedition.

I need to get this washed obviously but just wondering if I don't what will be the consequences on the bike?

Looking to buy a good pair of riding gloves under ₹4,000. My usage is mostly city rides + weekend highway rides.

Priorities:

- Good protection (knuckle + palm sliders ideally)

- Comfortable for Indian weather (not too sweaty)

- Decent durability

I’ve heard mixed things about brands like Rynox, Viaterra and based on my reasearch narrowed it down to these two

Rynox Air GT

Viaterra Holeshot

Would really appreciate:

- Specific models you’ve personally used

- Pros/cons after usage

- Anything to avoid

Thanks in advance!
