My friends didn’t even bring anything for my birthday

Today was my birthday and I invited 4 college friends to a restaurant. First, 2 of them came 30 minutes late, and the other 2 came an hour late. I had already pre-booked the food, so it had to be reheated.

And none of them brought anything. I’m not talking about an expensive gift, but even a small bouquet, even if they all contributed, would’ve been nice.

And okay the 1st pair had genuine problem because one girl got her periods midway. But the 2nd pair's behaviour felt so disrespectful.

They came, ate everything, talked (which I obviously liked because we have common topics), and then left.

Like… what the fuck bro 😭 Who does this? I’m feeling kinda sad about it.

IWTL skills to land an entry-level job in Marketing/Finance?

I keep hearing from people that the job market is really fucked up rn, and I have non-tech background, so it’s even more difficult for me to find a job.

So I wanted to ask, what skills, tools, etc. would actually be useful for finding an entry-level job?

I’m interested in Marketing and Finance, but idk where to start.

And ik there are professional courses and certifications for these fields, but I don’t have money for that rn, so I’ll have to put those on hold for now.

Please share skills, tools, or anything that might help :)

Melted icecream tastes way better than freezing cold icecream

Cold icecream doesn't even have any taste, whereas melted icecream which is smooth, runny and cold is so much better. I usually let my icecream melt and then eat it.
