hey, so i just bought a new car and for the first time in my life im driving something without a tint. definitely not a fan. i called and got a quote from my local shop on tinting and they gave me the standard tint and ceramic tint price.
both the shop and my brother in law suggest a ceramic tint, their main selling points were temperature control and to prevent the cracking/fading of my interior.
does it really make that much of a difference? im fairly certain the tint on my past 3 vehicles were standard and i didnt notice any wear on my dash or other interior parts. as for the heat i’m constantly cold so i dont really care when it gets real hot from sitting in the sun.

tomorrow morning i am going to the dealership to test drive a car. they have it listed at $13,995 which is slightly high so im going to beat that down a bit.
whats your experience with the fusion? what do you think of it compared to other cars in terms of reliability, ease of repair, drivability? anything i should look out for or ask about? from my googling some problems i need to watch out for are transmission issues, have those been a large problem for you? from the research ive quickly done its supposed to be a decent vehicle, i guess what im looking for are insights and opinions.
i live in alaska so im looking for something awd that handles decently on snow and ice. how do you like the winter handling?

Hello, i’ve been looking into buying a car. recently a chrysler has caught my eye. i have no experience with the vehicle and my brother in law doesn’t know much about them.
right now my average mechanic stop is $700-$2000 for little things like replacing hoses because everything is hard to get to and they have to take apart the car (2014 Buick Lacrosse). Google told me Chryslers can be difficult to work on depending on age and model, how’s a 2015 looking labor wise? i learned to do as much as i could for my previous vehicle so im hoping i can do that with my next vehicle.
Google also told me they’re relatively reliable in the winter. i live in alaska so i need something safe, anyone else live in snowier conditions and do you agree they’re good for winter driving?
i’m looking at maybe buying a radio off of ebay. While no salvage yards have it in the state, it can be ordered from another yard out of state. it’s $70 more and comes with a warranty.
is buying car parts off ebay sketchy? does anyone know if part stores come with a warranty as well or is that more of a store by store thing?

i’m looking to buy a car radio, i found one but the description says nothing about it having a warranty. so i guess my questions are 1. do car items on ebay typically come with some kind of warranty or is that a store by store policy. and 2. if it does not come with a warranty does anyone know the price of the allstate protection plan and is it worth it?
