Hi, first time android user, newly switched after a lifetime on iPhone. I'm a big fan of open source software and apps, and am heavily into self hosting my own media and replacing big tech apps with open source alternatives.

I'm looking for advice on the best ways to replace a few apps I presently use, as android seems to have a much more open ecosystem.

Things I'm looking for replacements for, largely to block adds, ha. Reddit, YouTube, and any of the social media apps. I'm moving off the social media apps, but still have them for family connections.

In line with my self hosting, I'd love an app to links into the *arr suite of apps.

I've heard about f-droid as an OSS app store, wondering about that too.

Any help for a newbie would be appreciated

If it's relevant, I'm in a pixel 11 pro.

Is there a way to have sonarr/radarr push a custom tag to BitTorrent based on the tracker from which it’s pulled? Looking to be able to see at a glance which items are pulled from which private trackers

Anyone know if these will be updated for S2? I saw a thread somewhere else saying they were dead but cannot locate it

Over the last few days my windows 11 desktop app has been unable to connect to an Australian server. Extensions in Firefox and brave, as well as iOS and router connections are fine.
Not sure if this related to the recent validated servers movements, or an app update.
Have reinstalled twice, not helping.
Am I able to rollback the app to an earlier version somehow?

A while back I made some chilli crisp which now after sitting for a month or so is deadly hot. Using more than 1/4 of teaspoon is firey. I love chilli but it’s even too much for me. My SO can’t even take whiff of it without keeling over.
What’s the best way to dilute it or mellow it? I was thinking about adding a bit more oil, crispy onions and sweet soy. Would it be best for me to reheat it and do this? Or do you have any other suggestions?

Far out, I just did follower dungeon for murder row quest, and dear god the hunter, mage, and warlock NPCs just casually pulling every random pack despite me, the tank, trying to dodge unnecessary mobs.

Can I pop out my sata ssd boot and tank drives and clone them using my main windows pc and drop them back in? Will they just pick up and work or will the system flag the change in hardware and give me a hard time?

Looking to go sata ssd to nvme for boot and sata ssd to larger sata ssd for tank

The bright flashes during playback have returned in the new Wholphin 0.63 update for android tv. Not to the same extend of the 0.61 issue, but still noticeable. Direct playback Exoplayer x265 content.

Have created bug report on GitHub, flagging here to see if to see if anyone else has the issue or has a fix. #1341 if anyone else has the issue and wants to add on.
