I tried it today. Plug in, tap credit card, begin session, scan the QR code on the charger session screen. At the link it takes you to type in the Summerdrive code into the promo code box and submit. The discount shows as credit on your receipt total.
In the summer of 1979 the VA neuropsychiatric hospital in Fort Lyon, Colorado hired 20 nursing students to work as interns. A group of us went camping by the White River one weekend. This is some us trying to wake up.
I set up Plug and Charge in our IONIQ 5. My wife took a trip yesterday from Maine to Philadelphia. When she stopped at the Portsmouth NH IONNA, the charger did not work after plugging in. She successfully charged after getting out her credit card so it wasn’t a big deal. It did work later for her at an EVgo. The BlueLink app lists IONNA as a CPO that should work. Is there any way to check and see if she did something wrong or was the car not registered for IONNA Plug and Charge like I believed it was?
I have a new to me 2024 IONIQ 5 Limited and have been getting used to the assisted driving features of adaptive cruise control and lane keeping. With the upcoming July 4th traffic I know I will be stuck in bumper-to-bumper stop-and-go traffic in the 500 miles from Philadelphia to Maine. Is there a way to get the car to safely stop and go with the traffic?
Started Zepbound on June 13, 2025. One year later I’m on 10mg (going up to 12.5 next week) and down almost 60 pounds from my start at 275 pounds.
I’ve plateaued for a few months. I think that was due to recent kidney surgery where I had to go off and limit exercise for weeks. I was also probably on 10mg too long.
I feel better. Sleep better but still use CPAP. I want to lose another 30 pounds. I can walk miles without being winded. My bad knee hurts less, and my wife loves the newer me.
The list of recognized religious faiths and beliefs was revised after the LDS (or Mormons) were left off the Christian sects. It was put back after the Senator of Utah complained.
The list does not specify Atheist but does have No Religion as an option. While there’s overlap in those descriptions, are they really the same?
In 1986 when I joined the US military I wasn’t allowed to say Atheist on my dog tags. I was given No Rel Pref, for No Religious Preference. I argued at the time they weren’t the same. My analogy was it was the equivalent of saying a Lactose Intolerant person has no preference for a flavor of ice cream.
Later, they allowed NR for No Religion but that’s not exactly the same IMO as stating gods don’t exist.
Fellow atheists, what is your take on this distinction?

The US flag had had 50 stars since 1959. The 48 star flag was the official flag from 1912 to 1959. My college students were shocked to learn this was the flag when I was born. They looked at me like I was a living fossil.
