How we feeling about the razr fold?

I've been hoping Motorola would do a book foldable for so long.

How is it?

I can get it (through work discount) for 900 euros from Motorola's website. Worth it?

Who else prefers Alan Wake 1?

I love AW1. Played it when it came out and have played it many times since, including the remaster. Even bought the limited edition back when it first released on Xbox 360.

It is the ultimate cosy horror game, right next to deadly premonition.

The world feels real, the characters alive and it has many memorable locations and moments. Just running to the peak of the mountain to get the manuscript up there gives you a sense of scale as you see the places you've visited off in the distance.

Driving down long roads made it feel like a connected journey.

Cable cart rides, the lodge, the mines, the forest where you could actually wander off the path, the dam, bright falls main Street and diner. Fighting the horde as they swarmed the stage with gods of Asgard blasting through the speakers. So many locations and moments.

I must admit, in my opinion, the world of AW2 if far less memorable and somehow feels a lot smaller. I never really had any wow moments (apart from the one music level) and I'd say most NPC's are either zombies or forgettable.

Now I'm not saying AW2 is a bad game. I enjoyed it as something different, more akin to a movie in game form.

However Alan Wake 1 was something else.
You arrive by boat and the story never stops.

Things I think AW1 did better:

  • TV shows.
  • Radio shows.
  • Memorable characters.
  • Pacing.
  • World building.
  • Locations.
  • Combat.
  • Gameplay.
  • Story (seems tighter and had better flow)

Things AW2 did better.

  • Graphics.
  • Unexpected "hmm that's neat" moments.
  • Expanded lore.
  • Tom's movie (wow)
  • Changing reality through writing mechanic

Things I hated in AW 2:

  • The mind place pin board and I can't believe one of the final levels revolved around clicking objects and then pinning them to to board. I avoided that thing unless needed by the end just so slow and boring.
  • The apartment being different (nitpick 100 percent)
  • No driving (why couldn't we have the option to drive between locations).

I love Alan Wake and hope to see more of his story though.

I've played through 1 many times but one time is enough for number 2.

So am I alone in preferring the first? Looking through posts here it seems I am and will be crucified for the fact. People even recommend not playing the first!

Really just talking to the void as I don't know anyone else who has played any Alan Wake game and have no one to discuss them with.

Here's hoping for AW3.

Cannot remove these little holes on bottom layer (orca slicer, multi-color, Creality Hi)

Printer: Creality Hi with CFS
Slicer: Orca
Filament is a mixture of recycled grey and silk gold.
Bed temp: 70
Nozzle temp: 220

I am using the default 0.4 nozzle and the bed that came with the printer.

I am trying to print this with no holes, the model has no holes at all however when it prints there are consistently small holes in the bottom layer, however they don't look accidental, it is as if the printer didn't even try to print there.

I have tried a multitude of settings and speeds going so far down to 0.1 layer height and 10mm/s first layer.

Is it just not possible with for such fine details with the 0.4 nozzle? Maybe it is time to finally commit to a 0.2 nozzle.

Why do some workshop skins show blood when injured and some not?

For example the division skins do not show any damage:

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1092670155

But this skin does show damage (ends up covered in blood):

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3407686288

What am I looking for to make sure the skins show damage? It adds to the immersion that we all make it to the end covered in wounds. I love the division skins but they stay too pristine however I am not sure why the heather skin is different.

Please help me save my pepper plant.

I am fighting a battle against fungus gnats. I have a hundred yellow sticky traps. I have added a top layer or volcanic rock gravel. I have not watered my plants for a while week. I thought I was winning.

Today I have noticed about 20-50 but potentially more small creatures crawling all over one plants soil/gravel. I shook the pot and many came crawing out and all over the pot.

They are tiny. Maybe 1mm. Some look reddish but that could be my imagination. Potassium soap (all I had on hand) slows them down but then they continue to march on after drying off.

Please help. I have had my pepper plants for many years and I don't want to lose them.

How is your hyperkin Xbox duchess holding up?

I love the original Xbox s controller. My current controller has stick drift and I am looking for something new.

I am leaning towards the hyperkin duchess but I am nervous about durability as I have read bad things about their duke controller.

I also am not sure if I can go back to having no back buttons. I do love hitting them instead of the bumpers.

How do you find your duchess? Daily driver? Comfortable? Long lasting?

It's 50 euros so a good price I think.

It's going to be that or 8bitdo ultimate 3 but I don't like the look of the shape.

Moved from an ender 3 pro to the hi with CFS and I've been loving it. I use the printer offline with a usb stick and with orca slicer. Everything works well and there isn't this constant need to adjust that I used to face with my ender 3. (I still love my ender 3 though)

I'm just wondering if anyone has some top level quality profiles for orca slicer?

I used to use cura and I had a load of custom profiles for the 3 pro. Would love a shortcut to get some high quality profiles without all the tinkering.

m looking for the most portable, pocket friendly, full featured controller to play game pass on the go.

At the moment I am looking at:

The 8bitdo sn30 (40 euros)

The iine mini retro (pc layout) (20 euros)

Acegamer t50 pocket (10 euros)

8bitdo has the wrong button layout (I guess this is superficial).

Iine mini has terrible looking triggers.

Acegamer does not have hall effect sticks.

Any other options or opinions on the three I have found?
