I want original vaporwave songs, not another slowed down city pop track or fucking AI

The soundtrack of Paradise Killer is so good at this (Lady Blue). But the genre is so badly plagued with AI that it's hard to find anything good nowadays.

What was your luckiest draw of the algorithm?

That one time it cooked.

Something completely unassociated to the rest of your library that you could only have stumbled upon by chance.

For me, I want to say it's the time it recommended Galdive. Since then, I listen to their songs pretty much every day.

SIB Tainted Grail

I tried the demo and, I understand, it perfectly encapsulated the classic Oblivion experience. I'm all for that.

But I'm still uncertain about what the experience shapes up to be long-term. Does it have a good main quest? Interesting side-quests? Story payoffs? Interesting character progression? Is stealth archer going to be the only option that makes sense?

Everyone was enrolled in a semester-long class project. You (unnamed exchange student) get to choose which group to join

Send me something casual and palatable please (pop/indie/chill), NOT a six-part prog rock anthem

Despite what I may say, I always appreciate everyone's suggestions

Can't find: dude playing a sick lip trombone solo during a live concert

I used to own a copy of this concert and one day I couldn't find it anywhere. I seem to recall Zappa stopping the concert to introduce this guy with a majestic moustache that would play a lip trombone solo for... I don't know... King Kong? It was an early Zappa track.

Looking for: rich chords

No matter what I'm listening to, there's only one thing that finally decides whether I like a song or not: a rich harmony (rich chords). Specially when different instruments adopt different parts of the harmony, and they don't all move together.

No matter the genre, this is the single common through line across my entire music collection.

One of my favorite tricks is when everyone's moving to a new chord, and both chords have two notes that are a half-tone apart (or even the same note), so the bass plays those two.

That said, I'll just skip most rock, metal, hip hop, instrumental tracks. Not cause I dislike them. It's just not what I'm looking for now.

I prefer energetic music

[Hopeless request] Music you could hear coming out of a doorsill in a quiet town

What I'm looking for:

  • Busted instruments
  • Old, poorly tuned strings
  • Old broken toys (music boxes, melodicas, etc)
  • Clanking of silver, steps on wood floor, distant murmurs, etc
  • An actual melody. Or someone clearly trying to play one.

What I'm not looking for:

  • Gramophone noise
  • A freaking drum set
  • I'm sure you can think of a good Pink Floyd, Radiohead or whatever example. But look harder

Examples:

What was a hit in your region that the world never caught on to?

I'm talking about songs you would expect people to sing along to where you live, but nowhere else.

For example, Joe Vasconcellos Live is an album you could expect to find a copy of if you entered a random house anywhere in Chile. Or at the very least, back when albums were a thing. Never seen it brought up anywhere else.

Who has the third code, anyway?

The "deltarune" code, right? Something tells me that the answer to this question is also the answer to "where does ch6 take place?"

It's funny cause my first thought is that it's somewhere related to the church. But we literally turned the church upside down and nothing like that turned up.

What I can tell FOR SURE is that Kris will make an attempt to stop Susie from finding the last code. We still don't know why exactly Kris made a fountain in Flower King, but it reminded me a bit of Flowey's deal with Asgore. Asgore was the only thing stopping Flowey from seizing the human souls. Much like Kris could not dispose of the code with Asgore around.

If you think about it. That could explain why the Knight kidnapped Asgore. Kris could not secure the code in the Dark World, so the Knight swooped in to take Asgore out of the picture so Kris could get to the code.

If you look at it that way, the code explains all of ch5. That begets the question. Where's the last code? Cause I guarantee you Kris is heading there in ch6.
