Stock screener is free?

I thought we had to pay for live data?

I’m on a free basic account and I’m getting live intraday data.

Can someone clarify?

You have to take it easy on the CVT….

Guys, we all know Nissans have sensitive CVTS that can self destruct near 100K miles.

The key to extending its longevity is to TAKE IT EASY ON THE GAS PEDAL.

Do not floor it. EASE up into it during acceleration.

Yes, it’s going to be boring and it’s going to take a minute to get up to highway speeds but it’s the only way to extend its life.

I bought a 2015 Nissan versa with 50K miles and I recently got rid of it at 230K miles. So no complaints from me.

Also, do the fluid changes with OEM fluid. The OEM fluid is going to cost a little bit more but there are some sites like eBay that discount them if you buy in bundles.

Start driving like a senior if you want your CVT to last long.

So we pump everyday now or what?

We pumped over $40 a few days ago and the trend continues….

No pullbacks…

No weakness…

No red days…

Just up, up, and up….

Bear case anyone?

Stick with one strategy and refine it.

I have only been investing prior to this and started day trading 11 months ago.

I immediately came to this sub to get advice on how to approach this. There is some good information here but what sticks out the most and I don’t see many here saying is stick to ONE strategy.

For beginners like me, I just took a handful of strategies and tested them over the months. Do NOT go through a HUNDRED strategies. You will be testing for YEARS…

This happens in stages and it’s important to go through and TEST each of them.

  1. Pick the strategy

  2. Work on the psychology.

  3. Add the indicators that BOOST the strategy.

  4. Add the RULES that minimize losses.

Then continue testing to PLUG in the holes…

I am not profitable yet, but my PNL calendar is getting better.

Does that mean there’s light at the end of the tunnel? No… the testing continues!

Still haven’t received my car…

California here…

I bought a used car from a big dealership.

Everything was going good in the beginning and now I still haven’t received my car. I signed the paperwork and everything. It’s almost two weeks now and I’m going to call them again today.

Dealer says it takes a few days to do a smog check because they bought the car from out of state.

Now I’m thinking there’s something wrong with emissions or it could be the catalytic converter.

The dealer said they’re going to give me a few gas refill, free oil change, and 1 year complimentary maintenance for the wait.

0 DTE

Hey guys,

I started daytrading 6 months ago, prior to this, I was only investing and played options 2-3 months out.

I am NOT BROKE, i have a job and I’m getting by.

The only issue is that I need A LOT of money (capital) to make money trading stocks.

I don’t even have the required minimum (25k) before the PDT rule change. It’s going to take me more than a year to get actually get enough capital to actually “play” the game.

I don’t mind starting from scratch again but this time with options since it can turbo the process of acquiring capital (assuming I’m green most of the time). 0 DTE. Is also cheap, so I’m looking to see if I should switch it up.

Thoughts?

Take as many trades as you need…

Don’t limit yourself to one trade.

There are MANY opportunities during the trading session and therefore don’t be scared to take them.

If you’re wrong, then exit and move onto the next.

Some traders take 1 or 2 trades., others take 20 - 40 trades.

I’m a scalper. I take 20 to 40 trades a session.

What works for other people may not work for you.

There is no RIGHT strategy and there is no LIMIT to the amount of trades that you can take.

I don’t like how other traders say trading the price action is like a coin toss.

It’s not a coin toss.

It’s a strategy. A real strategy.

You are measuring the momentum of every candle that prints in front of you and taking that data to predict the next move.

The candles only go up and down. You don’t have to make it any more complex than what it is.

Yeah, it may look like I’m hoping for the best, but at least I’m coming in with some knowledge instead of guessing.

Every trader hopes for the best after entering a trade. There is no strategy that is loss proof.

If it doesn’t work out, exit and wait for the next move.

Missed a big move because I decided to pick up my phone

It was literally the candle of the day. I had it timed and was about to execute but the idiot in me decided to go on instagram because I got bored.

Big moves happen within seconds / minutes.

Now I’m going to turn on news from my tablet to keep myself occupied.

Put the phone away!!
