Advice before i start?

So once i finish all the tutorial/mahjong 101 stuff in riichi city im actually going tonstart playing.

Im really nervous though. Mostly about playing slow cause i take a long time analyzing my own hand.

Ive also seen a bunch of other posts about reading other peoples discards and not dealing into other hands. Which is really confusing to me. I dont know how to know whats a safe discard and whats not.

Any help with these topics and other just general advice?

Auto start/stop disable?

So i just bought a 2020 fusion se used and for a couple weeks now the start stop thing hasnt been an issue. Whenever i stopped it would show the logo on the dash but grey and crossed out.

Now all of a sudden its started activating whenever i stop and turns back on everytime i restart my engine so i have to manually turn it off everytime. Its annoying and i hate it.

Is there anyway for it to stay off? Or do i have to buy that 100 dollar elimimator? If so, why was it staying off just fine those first few weeks?

Recommend me obscure light novels you think are good that you think no one knows about but you

Recommend me something you think is good but you see no one talk about. Something you think no one but you has read but you like.

I really like 2000s/2010s obscure moe stuff. I just discovered an anime called anyamal tantei kiruminzoo that looks cute so im gonna watch it.

Doesnt have to be moe though

And has an english translation please

Riichi city or kemono mahjong?

So i know mahjong soul has the bigger playerbase but ive heard riichi mahjong has the better tutorial.

Ive heard kemono mahjongs is really good as well but the bara furry artstyle is like a punch in the face everytime i look it up. No hate its just not my thing. Also its not free.

Which one would be better to learn?

Looking for recommendations of all genres

So ive been making a huge list of all manga and light novels from 1972 to now. I just recently finished the list going year by year on anilist.

Light novels are a blindspot for me though. I only included the popular ones (overlord rezero). What recommendations do you have?

Again avoid the ungodly popular ones like the examples above cause i probably already have them. They can be super obscure or they can be popular just not talked about as much as the super huge ones.

Dont be afraid to go old too! I have stuff like vampire hunter d and slayers on my list.

General recommendations?

So i am creating a giant list of manga that i am interested in reading from 1972 all the way to now. I just recently finished it going year by year in anilist.

However shoujo is a huge blindspot for me. Im not sure what is good or not. I have the really popular ones on my list and others that i have heard about in passing.

What do you recommend? Again probably try and recommend stuff thats not extremely popular cause its probably on my list already (ouran host club, nana, stuff like that)

It can be super obscure, or it can be popular just not constantly talked about like the examples above.

Looking general mamga recs of literally any genre. Just something you think is good

Im making a list of every manga i am interested in reading from 1972 (starting with devilman by go nagai) all the way up to today.

I have just finished th list going year by year on anilist. Now of course i have blindspots in a lot of stuff. Like newer manga and shoujo/josei manga. I have popular ones i have heard of but i dont know all of whats good.

What would you recommend? Nothing obviously popular though, like one piece. You can go super obscure or you can go popular but not constantly talked about. Any manga i get in the comments that i dont already have will be added to the list.

Oof this is rough...

Yes i know all about how the author didnt know what she wanted to do with the series initially, and because of that its a gag comedy for the first 20 episodes.

But man i didnt think it would be this dull. I have had people tell me that i just need to power through these first 20 episodes but im already fatigued and its only episode 4.

Also the pacing feels like its a million miles per hour and lambo makes me wanna kill myself.

Is there better translations of the manga online?

The manga scans ive found online are really rough. They have some weeblations in there as well that really grind my gears (like leaving "baka" untranslated).

The page quality isnt great as well. Any better scans available somewhere else?

Where to download akiragoya games?

Aside from the couple he has released on steam pretty much everything else seems to be doujin titles that dont have anywhere to buy them.

Googling takes me to some sktchy sites. Whats a reliable place?

Looking for the name of this horror/gory shmup

I was watching some kind of "top shmups" video a long time ago and the reviewer mentioned and showed footage of a shmup that was super gory and grotesque looking. The enemies were fleshy monstrosities and i remember it had female nudity on some of the enemies as well. I remember the reviewer saying "i actually cant show most footage of this game on youtube"

I think it was a japanese game (but i could be wrong) i just cant seem to remember the game. Googling "gory shmups" didnt help.
