I moved into the Enemy Flank Apartment Complex and every match I feel like I’m possessed by a gremlin of chaos. I am crazy, I am free, and I have the desperate urge to be a sassy e-girl in the chat. It feels like a magical transformation when I lock her in during pregame.

10/10 cannot recommend more.

How the heck do I stay alive now? I want to be a diva but I’m always down. Also, what reticle settings have you found are most effective for you? Are there any toggles I should consider? She may be my new main I fear

I’m not sure if this is a me-issue, or if some hidden statistic is a part of this, but I’ve had the hardest time getting into a game this week. I don’t think I’ve waited in a queue for less than 10 minutes since Saturday!

I am a returning player and I usually play QP 6v6 and Mystery Heroes but I just hit level 275 (overall, again, returning so fairly new), and I wonder if that has something to do with the lengthy waiting periods. I don’t know.

Is everyone just in community crafted? At least that all roles queue is a little bit quicker with about 5-7 minutes, but it’s very odd!

The best part of the Anima Strike event is that week to week, I finally get to tell Blizzard that I’m a bottom. Happy Pride, y’all 🫶

I recently got POTG as Domina and I sincerely have to thank the super clutch Moira who risked it all in overtime to ensure that we had a chance to do this absolute crazy nonsense.

This was a QP match that ended up lasting 17 minutes, the first two points were captured in overtime with 99-99 and the final round was so back and forth, I swore it would be the same way! I think I’m really getting somewhere with utilizing that push back, finally! Though I’d also be appreciative of any tips y’all may have for upping my game as our corporate queen 🙏

I just found this skin and wondered if there was anyone out there that used it as their go-to but had to switch out because of the association. Alternatively, did anyone actively change TO or procure the submarine skin when that was happening?

I know they’re going to see this, but I am so excited for the fact that they’ve dove into the lore so hard and they are making a comprehensive canon timeline like it’s their doctoral thesis. All of this work, effort, research, and notes- only because I came back to the game and they wanted to play with me.

I feel so loved, and I’m so eager to finally be able to digest the canon. They didn’t give a single shit about Overwatch before, and now they’re an encyclopedia of this very specific niche. I’m just…very gay and so appreciative of them.

Thank you to my wife, for defending me from sweats in chat at risk of toxic exposure, for choosing to fixate on this game just because I enjoy it, for learning characters that compliment my mains so we can work together. Thank you, my beautiful wife, for grouping up with me even though I play on PC and you on the Switch, sacrificing your aim assist just to be in the same match as me.

I never asked for any of it, and they just do it because they love me.

I am trying to improve my game sense by setting new goals to really focus on until I can be a better player! I’ve been focusing on aim for a while (years), and have pat myself on the back only acknowledging my damage/healing/eliminations without considering the ever important K:D ratio.

In short, I die A LOT.

I usually dove in regardless of the character I was playing just to try and get on a point or payload in a panic, usually resulting in instant annihilation. But that’s not productive!

I really want to expand my range of heroes I’m confident with playing, and I think learning a hero that thrives on the back line or works with a bit of distance would be a great way to adapt a sense of self-preservation in game. I’ve enjoyed playing Widowmaker, but I worry I do not bring enough value consistently to the match and my team with her since my accuracy is almost a solid 70+% or I do not hit anything at all for days.

I was just wondering: what heroes are best to play on a back line? Who is expected/accepted for keeping distance rather than making big dives?

I don’t know how many of y’all are saving highlights regularly from the game, but I fear I am going to miss a day or two in the reel I’m creating.

So not to get heavy, but I have a surgery coming up on the 23rd and it will not give me decent range of motion and recovery is sure to dull my reaction times and reflexes. I will not be able to play reliably from the 23rd-25th, but I cannot just leave those days blank and I don’t believe in lying and just collecting others on different dates.

If anyone is reliably playing daily and would like to donate a POTG OR HIGHLIGHT that they get on those dates, I would love to include them in the reel! I don’t have a following really, and this is a passion project if anything, but together, I think we can make something beautiful! Each clip will have commentary that I’m adding, but if you want to include a little story behind the highlight, I’ll gladly read that!

UPDATE: I was not expecting how many reach-outs I got for this! It’s so wonderful and uplifting to see so much kindness and empathy from this community. It’s almost overwhelming- now that I don’t have to worry about the game, I have all the time in the world to freak out properly about being cut open 😂! My concern here is merely that I will not be on par with the rest of my team and will be accused of throwing or (for lack of a better word) bullied in chats?

I love to be able to see my progress, have more even matchmaking, and even experience longer matches! However, I had done one match in 6v6 last season with my main, and for some reason, I was placed with only players ranked in gold and platinum. My team had threatened to report me because I was struggling with keeping up, dying pretty instantly after just leaving spawn because, truthfully, I was so outmatched by every other player’s skill. I explained that I’m doing placements and they calmed down and said I should try practicing on bots and stay out of comp, and I never touched it since.

I’ve grown a bit in the last few weeks, I’ve gotten competent at least with Domina, Illari, and I usually main Symmetra or Widow for DPS. My Hail Mary is usually Pharah if I’m having an off day, however! My main concern though is doing placements and having my performance make or break someone else’s rank who may place higher. I don’t want to make anyone upset or be a detriment to my team and those whose competitive games mean a lot to them personally. I know there are those out there that foster a lot of personal value and confidence based on this game and their skills, and I never want to take that lightly or ruin anyone’s day who would genuinely have their day ruined by a poor match.

TLDR: Is it a bad idea or detrimental to other players if I go into my comp placements knowing that I’m going to be placed in Bronze while doing my best out there, or is it a better idea to wait it out until I am consistently winning in unranked?

I’m currently in chapter 7 of this book, and I’m really wanting to enjoy it, but I’m having some trouble on my end concerning the plot. I am a bit confused as to what’s actually going on here, and I’m afraid I’m missing something or maybe thinking too hard about it. I understand we as readers need to adopt a suspension of disbelief to read fantasy fiction, and perhaps I haven’t opened up my mind enough to just take the words at face value. (Specific example: it’s weird that Scarlett’s parents were framed and subsequently executed for stealing one half of this map, but the Queen knows where it is and who is actually responsible and is sending them on this expedition anyway? There was no reaction to what I thought would be a startling revelation for Scarlett, but it seems like it was received as “more of the same” and was even stopping herself from bringing it up in her presence? I fear I missed something big). The writing is also seeming to have a handful of grammatical typos, but that could also just be a me issue as well that have me wondering if the writing is just not clicking with me.

I am very into the premise of a lesbian enemies to lovers in a fantasy realm and the whole of the assassination dynamics and politics, and I really want to enjoy this book! I think I’m in that slow period where it’s just not hitting the feverish need to read that all books have at some point or another.

The book has been recommended to me several times over the years, and the Girl Games series seems to be a prominent go-to for many readers getting into the genre of sapphic spicy romantasy. So to get through this, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

You all are really the ultimate troopers and I am so happy for the speed buffs, darlings. A step in the right direction to make your play experiences more fun is something to celebrate! You are out here dealing with so much oppression from those dreadful nerfs and still spend the time to continue to harness your skills to slay the game no matter who or what tries to stop you!

Your bravery in quite literally bringing that blade to a gunfight time and time again is something that is so cool and unique about you! I know a Vendetta main on my team means the vibes are guaranteed to be delightful, because you are all out here for the pure enjoyment of the game. Overwatch (and Talon, I suppose) needs you desperately, and this game is so good because of fighters like you. Thank you for keeping her in matches, for sharing your combos and tips, for being the most fearless co-conspirators I have ever had the honor of playing alongside.

I’ve been playing our girl and I realized my aim was a touch off compared to how it felt before the patch. I know my skills are not exactly at a high level, but this felt almost foreign?

I looked closer and it seems like the visual for her beam is thinner than it was before? I swore it was just a little bit thicker previously and had a bit more spread (not damage spread, just sparks and glow). Again, this change is not a mechanical one but I think a minor cosmetic adjustment. Has anyone else encountered this uncanny valley feeling?

I just think lore-wise they’re gonna kiss.

Anyway, as the title states, I’m learning Vendetta to impress my wife who is very good at playing Domina. I am usually a widow and Symmetra main so I do not know how to adequately stay alive especially in a position that’s so primarily melee or close-range. Any and all tips, combos, stadium builds, and tutorials would be so appreciated!

Again, I just want to impress my wife, I don’t expect to go into comp or anything, but I would love to stay alive and maybe earn an elimination or two!
