After watching the new trailer it seems like a lot of people are convinced Sadie is playing Jean grey. If that’s the case I am going to be massively disappointed. Finally we were getting a fully street level mcu spider man movie without any overbearing amount of setup or reliance on the past marvel movies (outside of ones spider-man is involved in),and then this shit. Obviously not confirmed so I’m not gonna lose my shit too easy but I just feel like that is such a cheap and stupid way to start to launch the xmen into the mcu. There’s been references and buildup to them existing but I feel like as good as this movie looks it’s just not needed. Especially if the Phoenix force is involved like too much too soon. But idk it’s all just speculation for now. I am just sick of spider man being shoe horned into other shit in his own movies, Hulk is one thing but even still. Spider-man has one of the most interesting rogues galleries in all of comics there is no way this is what they settled on. Anyways don’t know how true this will turn out to be, but if she truly is Jean and this isn’t done very well or made sense of by a great story then I’m gonna give up any hope left I had for this universe.

Okay so I’m not like a huge mcu fan anymore but I am very excited for this one based on everything I’ve seen. But I’m extremely confused as to who the villain is supposed to be. When they announced the title and the first trailer and set photos came out, I assumed Mr. Negative but it seems like that isn’t the case. I’m just genuinely confused, is it just like all the villains shown and someone controlling hulk or is SS the big bad? Idk not to get theories going just wanted to hear if anyone had ideas/ rumors. I just really hope this is not another non hulk movie with a hulk character as the main villain.
