Should you try to maximize points with one chain or spread them out?

About a year ago I took on a role at work where I am on the road pretty often. I have accumulated a good amount of IHG, hilton and marriott points and have been trying to keep them about equal. Starting to wonder if this makes any sense or I should just try to go all out on one brand?

Any tips for sleep?

Most of the side effects I can handle but I have been having so much pain in my body during sleep and it is making me wake up in the middle of the night. If anyone has had the same experience and found relief please let me know what worked for you. Nothing habit forming please

Is it normal to not get bonus points from special rates right away?

I booked rooms at 2 different Marriott properties last week, each time paying for a special rate that came with 3,000 bonus points. Both nights have posted to my account, but the extra points are not there. I'm wondering if it simply posts at a different time from the standard points that come with the room, or there has been a mistake and I should call support

Blue shop towels?

Hi there, I run a small business in the northeast (ny/new england)we go through a ton of the disposable blue shop towels, and it's the one thing I don't have a good supplier for, we usually just run to lowes or home depot for the 6 packs. I was wondering if anyone here has a good supplier that they like or could recommend that we could buy from in bulk.... thank you

First time stolen seat experience, with a twist

I usually do comfort plus because I am pretty tall and need the extra leg room, and want to sit up front and make sure I get an aisle seat. I am an aisle fiend, I hate sitting anywhere else. Unfortunately on a recent trip my return flight was close to full and all I could find was a lone window seat. Ugh but what can you do.

After a long weekend I had resigned myself to my misery, I was so exhausted and figured whatever I will just pass out the whole time. I get to my assigned seat and....

There is a woman sitting in the aisle, and her young (~8 year old)son is sitting in my window seat. She is beaming at him with her arm on his shoulder as he stares entranced out the window. Omg, this is obviously little guy's first flight and he looks so excited. Am I really gonna....?

"Uh, excuse me," I say halfheartedly, "my seat...."

The woman looks over at me, a little disappointed, then with a confused smile, "Your seat? Sorry, no English...."

Yeah, I think, this isn't happening. She got me on this one, I don't have it in me to do charades and be a jerk to a kid. It finally happened to me.

Then before I realize what is happening, she slides into the middle, hugs her kid and points to the aisle seat with a smile on her face.

"Sorry....You take?"

"Um....Sure....I guess :D"

The joy I felt in that moment....I was grinning internally the whole flight lol

e: just woke up and read through the comments.

I promise, this is not chatgpt and really did happen. But I think you guys are probably right she really did speak english. I kinda felt at the time like she thought she was getting one over on me. But like I said, I didn't care lol. I have flown so many times, looking out the window does nothing for me. I love being close to the bathroom and cart service

Why am I getting emails saying Doordash did a background check on me?

Been getting a number of emails over the past couple of days from doordash saying they have done a background check I assume to be a driver initiated from a state/county I don't recognize. No interest in being a driver I just use them to order food sometimes. Can I ignore this?

Has anyone seen toom dip for sale locally?

I usually go to Costco but they seem to be out of stock. I'm a fiend for the stuff so if you've seen it elsewhere holyoke westfield etc. that still helps.
