Also I just put Ollie in needs a major buff cuz I’ve genuinely never seen anyone use him and know nothing about him so I just kinda assumed he needs a buff.

I wrote this a while back, but I want to get back into writing especially because it’s summer break.
I did some finishing touches as it’s been a while and I previously asked people for critique.
Okay so I’m replaying chapter 4 as I type this. I haven’t played chapter 5 yet (you can still leave spoilers if my theory relates about it down below, I just won’t check my messages on this sub until I finish the chapter).
However, something that caught my attention was where Ralsei said: “The prophecy will happen no matter what. It will always find a recipient. It has to happen.” And my mind thought:
‘oh, so even if Susie, Kris and Ralsei all die before the prophecy is completed, then it will find someone else to complete it. That could lead to Deltarune 2 maybe?’
I hadn’t thought much of it until I was fighting Gerson (who I beat on my first attempt might I brag).
Now, Gerson is known for his book Lord of The Hammers, where first couple chapters talk about the events that happened in the past chapters. Then it hit me; what if WE are the second prophets?
I mean think about it, how does Gerson even come up with a story that exactly describes ours? SIMPLEEE
HE HAD EXPERIENCED IT BEFORE USSSS. WE ARE DELTARUNE 2.
The reason Gerson says: “Chapter 4: The Chapter of pink and gold… blah blah “was abruptly ended, some say the author drove himself mad.”
And the reason he was driven mad was because ALL of his friends died, aka, his fun gang. That’s why there was nothing after chapter 4, because he wasn’t able to finish it, because the prophecy WAS NEVER FINISHED.
He felt so utterly guilty for being the only one alive, he couldn’t bring himself to finish off the story. Infact, I can bet to you that he hates prophecy’s BECAUSE it lead to his friends deaths. That’s why he encouraged the fun gang, more so Susie to try her hardest to never give in to the prophecy. Because if they do, Susie is going to become Gerson, and the cycle will continue till it it finally happens.
THATS the prophecy Susie saw. She saw everyone in the fun gang die in that prophecy towards the end, except her.
Infact, maybe some of the monsters in the cemetery were in Gersons fun gang. Perhaps Shyra was the Noelle to Gerson? IDK. This part is probably not true.
Now, I would end my theory here, but remember, There has to be a prince of the Dark, a monster from the lightner world, and also a human.
We’ve accounted for the monster, but no prince of Dark. I’m genuinely unsure who it could be, or if we’ve even seen them yet.
However, if you remember that upstairs in the library, there was a book about humans and how to take care of them.
Kris opens the book, and quickly shuts it after seeing humans he doesn’t recognise (if I remember correctly?)
One of those humans COULD be the human, aka the previous SOUL user.
This is where I officially end my theory.
PS, GOLD AND PINK INVERTED IS CYAN AND YELLOW. CYAN IS THE COLOUR OF THE PATIENCE SOUL, YELLOW IS JUSTICE. IF WE WERE TO INVERT THE MEANS AS WE DID THE COLOURS, IT WOULD MEAN IMPATIENCE AND INJUSTICE.
pink and gold are the eyes of FRIEND, so I was thinking there was some hidden symbolism behind that? OK THATS ALL I HAVE TY FOR READING.
I can’t wait to come back to this once I’ve finished chapter 5. Also I feel like I’m going to play as the cyan soul in this chapter. CANT WAIT RAGHHHHHHHH.

So I was watching a video on Re:Zero. It’s an anime about some guy who every time he dies, he resurrects at some sort of checkpoint, and no one except himself remembers his deaths.
I don’t really like the show (it’s so poorly and very well written at the same time), and I was watching someone on youtube critique how the deaths feel meaningless and without impact.
And similarly in my book, the main character can kill himself on command resurrect at a 12:00am (rounded down, even at 11:59pm). No one remembers anything and the world resets any previous events.
And his critique just made me realise something very obvious
How do I actually make death impactful for someone who dies so often, especially to the reader?
At first I thought, “oh, I’ll just introduce a highly loveable character, kill and resurrect the mc a couple of times to make the reader believe that even if their beloved characters die, the mc can still resurrect to a previous point in the day before they died, the loveable character is purely oblivious, yada yada, then BOOM, they die and the mc is unable to resurrect and reset the day in time for whatever reason, leaving the character to be dead forever.
However, this is just a temporary problem, so I suppose I’m looking for something more general?

no shade to him but holy crap how do you have a bunch of characters in a game but not one of them requires skill to main. Yes, that includes your main, my main, everyones main.
Its genuinely so frustrating as well because jjs is one of my favourite games on roblox but literally rage inducing to play against ANY character. It isnt even hard to make a balanced concept either, there are some custom reworks i found that i'd prefer over the original because they're balanced.
anyway idk if this is a hot take or if im just complaining too much. I just lost 2 duels to a higuruma and a yuki, which is why i felt the urge to post this.
but in my opinion, most characters need some sort of rework, even just a slight one. any one else agree or nah?
Between the 2nd and 3rd attack, which one should I get rid of for a rushdown attack? (4th move will be manji kick but balanced I guess lol).
Essentially, one of my characters is going to be this ‘other-worldly’ being that talks in a weird manner. Though I haven’t written the scenes of it yet, here is what I imagined the scene like:
Out came a doll-like being, whose voice was irregularly monotone, yet, it seemed to have a natural, uncontrollable loudness to itself. However, every couple words, it seemed to have a hiccup, and instead whisper the word.
“Hey [kid], who y’a looking [for?]” Said the strange doll.
Originally, I was going to type every word within the speech marks except the whispers, but. I quickly realised that it would be really unpleasant to read.
Any thoughts on how I could go about typing the weird speech of the character? Or does the example seem okay?
Basically what the title says. I tested my character with my friend, but he can’t evade out of my m1’s or skill attacks. Any idea why and how to change it?
