quick q about the ilnp ultra holo formula.
i keep seeing comments say it's "mostly linear" or "if you like ultra holo, you'll probably like this other brands linear formula over their scattered formula." is it actually just a strong linear holo, or is it both linear and scattered together?
asking because i strongly dislike scattered holo. it hurts my eyes to look at. it's a weird, visual form of nails on a chalkboard for me. most i can do is cirque's shimmergraphic holo formula and even that's pushing it.
butttt I've been looking for an indigo/sapphire linear for a while and ILNP's new "emma" looks super promising! just want to know how that formula looks irl before purchasing. :)
I'm a Pre-K teacher and I work another part time job to supplement my income (to afford to live alone, of course). By the end of the day most days I am completely wiped and have little energy for cleaning. On top of that, my ADHD makes cleaning into a whole ordeal.
I really struggle to keep my place clean and tidy. I do well with routine and structure so I'm hoping that having a concrete cleaning schedule will help me. Does anyone have a set cleaning schedule they might share to help me get my own together? Any advice is welcome!
I have a four-year-old in my early Pre-K class who, as the title says, doesn't like to use the potty. Please help!
A little more about the situation: little guy has some significant developmental delays. Speech is severely delayed, fine motor skills are delayed. If he has a diagnosis, parents are not forthcoming. He's in occupational therapy and speech therapy.
He does not like going to the bathroom. It doesn't matter when we say it, how we say it, how many warnings he's given-- every time we prompt him, he resists. Frequently to the point of a full-on meltdown.
Once he is in the bathroom, sometime's he'll pee his pants there, sometimes he'll pee in the potty, and sometimes he'll scream and flail around for 30+ minutes still refusing to use the potty or change clothes.
The rest of the time, he will just pee in his pants and continue on about his day like nothing has happened. Being wet does not bother him. Then getting him to change clothes is a similar fight. "Accidents" are happening 4+ times a day, and that's even after we've finally convinced him to pee in the potty several times as well.
At home, he is allowed to run around naked. When he's naked, he goes to the potty. This is what leads me to believe that he has control of his bladder and is choosing (?) to wet his pants rather than go to the bathroom at school.
We've gone out of our way to make the potty a fun experience at school. He gets praise when he does finally go potty or change his clothes. We've tried stickers and other treats, we've done "if you want to go outside, potty comes first" type stuff, we STAY on simple first/then statements, we've tried potty buddies and more. It's not helping.
ECE hive mind, please help. My co-teacher and I have 24 kids and it's beyond unsustainable for one of us to be spending several hours daily just convincing him to go pee or change clothes.
