Uptown Mentor, was it just a dream?

Does anyone know the latest on the Uptown Mentor development in Old Mentor—the property where Jazzercise and the old Mentor Hardware buildings used to be?

The project received final approval last November, and the developer said construction was expected to start in spring 2026. We’re now well past spring, and it doesn’t look like much is happening.

I’m still excited about the plans for apartments, restaurants and shops, but this project has seemingly been “coming soon” forever. Has anyone heard an updated construction schedule?

I love this bike.

40 miler with 2k climbing in Asheville. Had half a lung removed August ’24 and today I beat some pre cancer PRs. My kid bought this for me for not dying.
