Mail Call!
Since some folks here seem to have a huge stick in their craw about this subs entire existence as of late, here's what came in the mail today.
Alone in the Dark was used, Greedfall TDW was on a deep sale.

This is how we console game in our family. Physical, and particularly used or discounted games, we mostly catch and release. If they are classics, we will buy them later on deep discount for PC. This method also lets us buy from small businesses or individuals and avoid giving money to corpos I disagree with fundamentally.
Of course, as an XBOX owner this method has been especially difficult this gen. Oh well, guess it doesn't matter at this point anyhow. #physical.
"We’re here to support the family of Kohen Wiley and understand that the police’s interests—and the interests of the people that we’ve elected into office—are to protect moneyed interests and these billionaires."
On May 21 I placed my order for the Odin 2 Portal (8GB) at $273 shipped to me in the US.
If you want to read about the initial anxiety of ordering and receiving this batch of units, feel free to read here:

I contacted support and added a grip on May 27, adding another $19 to the total.
It arrived on June 15. Total of 25 days from initial purchase to my doorstep.
And now, just a quick few notes on initial setup and tests:
TL;DR - hang in there if you're waiting, consider this device if you're on the fence. It's worth it. Feels good in the hand with that grip, plays the games I'm looking to play.
Use caution if you're traveling between Lafayette county and Marshall county North on highway 7. Observed ice traffic stop with multiple ice agents and police involved. Roadblock set up about half mile ahead at County line.
As usual, corpos are just going to do what they want.
Ordered and paid for the Portal Base (8GB), support said they are supposed to ship end of May.
Anyone else still waiting for some kind of update? Not trying to be impatient but it is June 1.
All I have to say is how neat it is to see SE games on GOG, and on their very first sale at that this week.
I'm not really in the place in my life were SE games are as relevant to me, but seeing FFVII, VII, IX, Legend of Mana, and the III and IV remakes is cool.
That's it. That's the post.
I'm still learning how this works, but my question is related to resolution. If I've set default config to 1280x720 resolution, does changing the resolution in-game do anything?
Do any in-game settings actually do anything, come to think of it or is it all being decided by the GameNative config?
Running the Motorola moto g 2025:
Cannot seem to find the magic combination to get Stardew Valley running on this hardware, though I've read others have been successful with it.
Anyone here been able to do it, willing to share your config? TIA
