Would You Rather Have the Power to Make Anyone Fall for You, or Kill Anyone by Mooning Them?

You are given two powers.

First: if you’re a man, you can make any woman fall hopelessly for you.

Second: anyone you moon instantly dies. So the last thing they ever see before death is your butt.

But keep in mind: with the second power, there’s a real chance that the most powerful militaries in the world will eventually come after your ass. lol :D

Spain still carry the soul of that legendary 2010 team

Spain always know how to stay organized. They are masters of playing as a team. Marc Cucurella, especially with his style, energy and fighting spirit, honestly reminded me of the legendary Puyol from the 2010 World Cup. It made me a bit emotional. Spain just always seem to know how to produce good players and build proper teams. And Yamal is also benefiting from that structure around him.

A small privacy incident in a café pushed me to build my own Chrome extension

A few weeks ago, I was working from a café with my laptop open.

It was a normal day. I had a few tabs open, some notes, a dashboard, messages, and probably a couple of things I should have closed before stepping away. I went to the restroom for just a few minutes.

When I came back, I noticed someone sitting at the opposite table looking at my screen. Not just a quick glance, but long enough that it immediately felt uncomfortable.

At first, I tried to ignore it. Then I asked, politely, if they had been looking at my screen. The answer was vague, and the conversation became a little tense. Nothing serious happened, but it upset me more than I expected.

I kept thinking about how casual the whole thing was. Someone does not need to “hack” you to see something private. Sometimes they just need to be sitting near you at the wrong moment.

That bothered me.

I realized how often this can happen in ordinary situations: cafés, airports, libraries, coworking spaces, offices, meetings, screen sharing, video calls, or even while recording a quick demo. Most of the time, I do not need a heavy security tool. I do not always want to lock my entire computer or close every tab. I just want to quickly hide the part of the screen that should not be visible.

A password field. A private message. A client name. A dashboard number. A note. A login screen. A part of a page I forgot was open.

I know there are already similar tools out there, but I wanted to build something in my own way. I thought it would be easier to add the exact features I personally needed if I made it myself. And honestly, solving my own problem with something I built felt amazing.

I do not have deep coding knowledge, but with the help of Claude Code, I decided to try building it anyway. It took a lot of trial and error, but I eventually made a small Chrome extension that solves this exact problem for me. It lets me hide the whole page when I need to

I am intentionally not writing the name here because I do not want this to feel like a promotion.

I mostly wanted to share the experience because it reminded me that digital privacy is not always about huge threats. Sometimes it is about small everyday moments where your screen is simply more visible than you think.

And honestly, even though I am not a developer, building a small solution for something that personally bothered me made me really happy.

I just released a major update for my Chrome privacy extension (BlurMyScreen) — now with regional blur, auto-blur, blackout mode and PIN lock

Hi everyone,

I just released a major update for BlurMyScreen, my Chrome extension for hiding sensitive screen content during screen sharing, video calls, recordings, or working in public.

The first version was mostly focused on quickly blurring the whole page. With this new update, I redesigned the experience and added more practical privacy controls — especially for people who only need to hide one specific part of the page.

The biggest new feature is Regional Blur:
you can now drag a box over a specific area, like a password field, chat preview, private note, dashboard number, or anything else you do not want visible. The selected region stays locked in place even while scrolling.

What’s new in this update:

  • Regional blur — hide only the part of the page you choose
  • Blur / Mosaic / Cover / Black modes — choose how you want to hide the content
  • Blackout mode — instantly turn the whole page black
  • Cover mode — cover the page with a custom color and opacity
  • Auto-blur on idle — automatically hide the tab after your mouse is inactive
  • PIN-protected screen lock — lock the screen and require a PIN to unlock
  • Adjustable intensity — control blur, mosaic, and cover strength
  • Keyboard shortcut — toggle quickly with Ctrl+Shift+U / Cmd+Shift+U
  • Redesigned popup — cleaner and more direct controls

Privacy was the main focus while building it.

I also made a short demo video showing the new version in action. The demo was recorded on a mockup website with fake sensitive data, but the extension also works smoothly on regular pages like YouTube, Reddit, dashboards, and other websites.

I’d really appreciate feedback on the new update — especially whether the regional blur flow feels clear and useful for real screen-sharing situations.

Does too much screen time make your ADHD worse?

I have ADHD, and I’ve always struggled with forgetfulness throughout my life. But especially over the last few years, it feels like it has reached a peak.

During this same period, I also got much more absorbed in social media. I noticed something strange: looking at screens too much almost takes the meaning out of my gaze. When I’m scrolling, I feel like I’m hypnotized in a pointless way.

In those moments, I feel mentally paralyzed. I don’t want to think, decide, move, or do anything physically. I don’t even feel like going outside or meeting my friends.

But deep down, I can also feel that my body actually wants those things. It wants movement, social connection, and real life — but I feel stuck in this state of inertia.

I think I need to find a way to break out of this cycle.

Has anyone with ADHD experienced something similar with excessive screen time or social media? How did you start getting yourself out of that frozen, passive state?

Looking for UI/UX critique for my screen privacy Chrome extension

I’m redesigning the UI of my Chrome extension, BlurMyScreen, and I’d really appreciate honest design critique before I publish the updated version.

The extension is built for people who want to hide or protect screen content in public spaces, shared offices, cafés, classrooms, or during screen sharing.

It works entirely locally, with no data collected and no account required.

The current features are:

- Blur — applies a smooth blur over the entire tab

- Mosaic — pixelates the page, similar to TV-style censorship

- Cover — overlays a solid color of your choice

- Blackout — instantly blacks out the tab

- Regional blur — lets you draw a box over a specific area, such as a password field or private chat, and the blurred area follows the content as you scroll

- Auto-blur — automatically blurs the tab when your mouse stays idle for a selected amount of time

- PIN lock — blacks out the screen and requires a PIN to unlock

- Keyboard shortcut — Ctrl+Shift+U on Windows/Linux, ⌘+Shift+U on Mac

What I’m especially looking for feedback on:

- Does the interface feel clear at first glance?

- Are the feature names understandable?

- Is the layout easy to scan?

- Do the buttons and controls feel logically placed?

- Are there too many modes/options shown at once?

- Does anything feel visually confusing, unnecessary, or hard to trust?

- How would you improve the overall UI before release?

The demo shows the current workflow. It was recorded on a simple local test page to keep things clean, but the extension works the same way on real websites too.

Demo video:

Current Chrome Web Store (old) version:

https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/blurmyscreen/jmfpappjliepchpdjoaopabhlbgmhcjk

This is a side project, and I’m mainly looking for honest UI/UX criticism rather than promotion. Any feedback on the interface, user flow, visual hierarchy, naming, or overall usability would be very helpful.

Small note: I designed the product flow and UI direction myself, and used Claude Code to help with implementation and iteration.

I built a free Chrome extension to blur/cover your screen when working in public

Hey, I wanted to share something I've been building — BlurMyScreen, a

Chrome extension for hiding your screen content in public or during

screen shares.

It works entirely locally, no data collected, no account needed.

**What it does:**

- **Blur** – applies a smooth blur over the entire tab

- **Mosaic** – pixelates the page (like TV censorship)

- **Cover** – overlays a solid color of your choice

- **Blackout** – instantly blacks out the tab

- **Regional blur** – draw a box over a specific area (password field,

private chat, etc.) — it follows the content as you scroll

- **Auto-blur** – automatically blurs when your mouse goes idle for X seconds

- **PIN lock** – blacks out the screen and requires a PIN to unlock

- Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+U (⌘+Shift+U on Mac)

The video above walks through each feature one by one — it's short, no

narration, just a quick look at how it works. It was recorded on a

simple local test page to keep things clean, but it works the same way

on real sites too (tested on YouTube, Reddit, Gmail, etc.).

I'm releasing an updated version with a redesigned UI in the next few

days. For now, the current version is available here:

https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/blurmyscreen/jmfpappjliepchpdjoaopabhlbgmhcjk

Happy to answer any questions or take feedback. This is a side project

so honest criticism is welcome.

How do you manage ADHD-related panic and brain fog without medication?

As someone with ADHD, I sometimes panic for no real reason, even when I’m dealing with very simple tasks that I already know how to do. In those moments, my decision-making just shuts down, and I start feeling worthless, like I’ll never be successful at anything in life.

I experience this in ups and downs. Most of the time, my mind feels foggy, and random thoughts and memories keep spinning around in my head. This constant, unnecessary mental intensity makes it feel like there’s a barrel of water inside my head.

It has really damaged my confidence in daily life. When I communicate with people, I never feel like I’m in a strong or confident position. Even when I speak correctly and say logical things, I often feel like I’m not taken seriously.

I’d really appreciate advice from people who have experienced similar things and have managed to discipline and regulate themselves without medication.

Take care of yourselves.
