Im looking for Proportion advice

So when i draw, my characters usually look more human-like than I want. I tried adjusting head measurements (where one head is how much distance between such and such), and it just made the drawing look like I just made it smaller, not disproportional. I'm looking for a more exaggerated look. Does anyone know any references or ways I can do this? It's also making it hard to use certain references because it makes it look human.

Tips to shorten 3D printed base

So I got a snub nose head base for my suit but the seller sent me the wrong one and let me keep it and sent the other, so I'm making a second partial fursuit for my stepmom! The problem is my stepmom wants a wolf panther hybrid, so I need to shorten the nose a little bit. The mask is PLA. Is there a way to do that?

Help with finding references for an art fursona.

EDIT: A few people have responded so I thought I would add this: I have nothing to offer in return for assistance, unless you would want your fursona drawn. Thank you in advance!

I need help with fur patterns. My fursona is a fox moth, who is an art witch. I have tried looking for references on how paint and pastels would smudge fur, how blotches would look in a fursuit ect. I've tried randomizing my brushes and various splotch and grains on procreate. Nothing is working. I tried AI and almost everyone shamed me, so I'm here now asking for help. I'm lost and I don't know where to look. I can physically draw. I don't need free to use bases. I need an idea on how the fur patterns should be.

Moth larvae question

So a verigated cutworm laid eggs at the very top of my porch roof (Brown speck at top), they have just hatched. Will they crawl down to food, or should I help? Second photo in comments of close up.

Leo loves bird watching!

Also, look at them little teefers. He is such a sweet baby and is currently watching the shadows of the birds through the curtain. He loves to sit and watch my spell work, but birds are his favorite! Whenever he sees one he likes, look out! He's a fast jumper with nothing in his path, (at least he thinks, I have scratches that prove otherwise.)

Weird question

What are everyone's thoughts on non deity altars? I have a couple to different gods but I really thought about making one for mothman. I love moths and I'm studying them as a hobby and I thought it would be fitting.

How would I go from drawing to base?

Is it in the resources anywhere? I'm stuck at trying to figure out how to set up my drawings to make a base with.

Uv light question

This is posted in r/entomology also, but I'm curious if anyone else using a uv light setup get nauseous. I tried the first time tonight and couldn't be out more than an hour because I was getting nauseous.

Setup questions

So I got the uv bulbs, got the clamp lights and got the sheet. I'm having a couple issues though. First the base of the clamp light gets REALLY hot, and Im not sure if I got the wrong clamp light. Second, the moths are not actually landing, just hovering and leaving. I'm wondering if the wrinkles in the fabric are scaring them? Thought about switching to a white stretch canvas and just setting everything up on my easel. But I figured y'all would know. Thanks in advance!

Insect photography

I have a powershot sx540 HS and I’m trying to photograph moths, but I can’t seem to get good shots without being a few inches away, which scares them. Can someone recommend a budget friendly aid or the settings needed? I’m a hobbyist so I’m not too familiar with this.

Fur Suppliers

EDIT: I checked r/fursuitmaking, I can’t find info, only tips like ventilation and masks while using glue or shaving fur. I also think it was removed. I tried asking and they removed mine for asking about sources, guiding me to the deleted post instead 😑

Where do y'all get your fur? Does anyone use plushy blankets? I'm doing a full partial suit and fur is $10 a yard and I'm looking for alternatives. Also can anyone tell me how to calculate the yardage for my suits, or any resources I should look at? Thanks in advance!
