[OC] I felt like posting this photo of my neighbor's kitty, Biscuits since I've been pretty blue lately

I was bringing cookies over for my neighbor and she introduced me to one of her cats, her name was either biscuits or biscuit, either way I decided to hold my hand out to let her sniff it, and she headbutted me!!!!!! 🥺❤️😭 also this might be a false memory but she might have also flopped over to show her belly, also if I were to guess I'd say her name was biscuits

What is something in your country that can be seen from surprisingly far away, such as from another region in your country or even another country entirely?

I'm talking about a city, landmark, monument, natural feature, anything like that. To establish a baseline, here's Mount Rainier, a mountain in Washington State, USA, from Vancouver Island in Canada, and I read somewhere that some of the Scottish inner hebrides can be seen from northern Ireland on super clear days but don't quote me on that, my memory of what exactly it said isn't very good lol. Bonus points if it can be seen from multiple countries or multiple regions within your country

I'm scared

Listen, I hate trump just as much as the other guy, but I'm scared that Mamdani and other wackos who support communism and socialism will try to run for president or mayor of other cities or governor of a state and win, I'm horrified, I don't want a DSA freak for president, I don't want a Mamdani or rabid commie antisemite running the country, it doesn't work and never will work, I'm scared about who could possibly win the 2028 election or some government position like that, I can't stand to live in an America ran by someone as delusional as a socialist or communist, I could be freaking out and I might be paranoid, but this is a horrifying thought that came to my head, I cannot stand it, I don't want to live in a world like that, I truly hope this won't come to fruition, I'm devastated, REALLY devastated, I don't live in New York but I'm worried for its future, I'm worried for this country's future.

Another "flavor" of scene that I've taken a liking to: sweet scene

Have no idea if these are good examples of it but I tried my best. Also it's funny how they dress like this but after learning about scene they'd dress like this than listen to the loudest and heaviest music this side of cannibal corpse and black sabbath, but who knows? Maybe they did listen to cheery and cute music, ya never know

A funny observation that I haven't really seen that many people discuss

This could just be me, and I could just be tripping and not get it, but I've seen a couple of scene haircuts that are so big and voluminous that they bring those 60s bouffants and beehives to mind for me. Did they intentionally style them like those 60s haircuts, most definitely not, although maybe some did, who knows haha, but I just wanted to make this post because I thought it was a funny observation and coincidence to talk about
