Continue Small Claims after Account Reinstatement

I’m currently in the process of suing meta in small claims with an October court date. Let’s say theoretically if Facebook decides to reinstate the account before the court date. Would it also be a good idea to continue suing for monetary damages even if they decide to reinstate the account? Suing for the monetary damages loss during the account disablement.

Starting Small Claims Lawsuit

If I already sent the demand letter and waiting for further updates after Meta lawyer confirmed they received the letter, I’m at a point where I need Facebook access asap to start employment/business scheduling and communication. I’m planning to begin a small claims lawsuit against Meta and will starting one potentially speed up the process since it escalates the issue and forces Meta to respond (and hopefully settle)?

Meta Confirmed Received Demand Letter

My lawyer sent the demand letter 7/1 and Meta sent a response on 7/10 confirming they received the letter and forwarded it. “I am in receipt of your July 1, 2026, letter to Meta Platforms, Inc. regarding
Facebook account. My firm represents Meta Platforms, Inc. in this matter. I understand from your letter that [I] believes his account was disabled in error. I have forwarded the information in your letter on to my client and will follow up with you when I have an update or further information request. Please note that Meta makes no guarantees regarding the provision or outcome of any review.” Has anyone that gotten their account back know how long this part of the process usually takes?

Data Center Cancelation

The data center planned in El Segundo is officially dead.

There was so much backlash against the data center that the developer withdrew his application. Seriously.

Go to 3:12:00 and you will see. Linked here.

Democracy rules. Long live the people.

Nothing about any data center moratorium, but the backlash is probably enough.

Randomly Disabled Account

I’ve started a request through legal shield and filed a complaint through my attorney general (California) in hopes to get my account back. Does anyone have other suggestions/tips? Those that were successful, how long did it take to get everything back?

If you were unable to make it to the Bob Gale event in Santa Barbara, my friend went to the discussion and has the link for the full discussion on how Back To The Future got started and after the release the impact it had on pop culture! Yes apparently the film was rejected 40 times even by Disney!

Opening night was a success! Sad that Back To The Future didn’t make the cut this year to return, but enjoyed everything especially the Forbidden Forest Search for Hippogriff (longest wait, rope drop this), One Piece Stunt Show (very popular and packed each show, get there early or risk getting turned away, my friend’s show recording included), and Scooby Doo Meets Universal Monsters (final reveal villain and clues change each night so spoilers won’t help you).
