Just a heads up because more folks have been asking me to pick up X2 posters for them... the Speed Shop recently sold out of every single one, even the display units, and they don't expect to stock any more...

I don't remember seeing this backstage during last year's Knott's Scary Farm... is this for training the influx of seasonal workers?

Since KSF 2026 opens tomorrow night, here are some pics of the refreshed CarnEvil scare zone with aesthetic elements borrowed from the former Mesmer maze. Since Professor Mesmer was featured prominently at Nightmares Revealed, will he replace The Conductor as the MC of the "Opening Scaremonies"?

Not sure if someone already posted this, but SFMM officially released their pass holder survey in regards to the options that are displayed, especially with KI, Carrowinds, CW, and SFGAdv having released theirs a few days ago

Sadly this seems to confirm that the Halloween Hootenanny is not making an appearance this year...

The Fright Fest decorators got a budget to get a fancy helicopter, complete with gatling gun next to the Carnage maze, which is getting its own photo booth... is this a first? Not much at the front gate yet, but work apparently being done at the new Wolves Blood and Final Destination mazes. Other props being set up, some in new locations and some I haven't seen before. The Trick 'r Treat maze looks good in its new spot where Saw used to be. New merch in the Horror Emporium. Glad to see Willoughby's set up again as the granddaddy of SFMM mazes.

Glad the very last Monday was not rained out, though it did start a little slow because of some drizzle in the morning. A few observations... they could never get the raft elevator to work this season at Tornado, and the menu screen at Cowabunga Grill wasn't working either... hopefully they get those up and running next season.

Hopefully the unfinished outdoor maze work (especially Unearthed) wasn't too affected by the weekend rains. The back of the Inked maze is getting gated off... perhaps to conceal some stuff from peeping eyes on the Calico Railroad?

Knott's is open in the rain, which turned out to be heavier than expected on Sunday. Some rides closed, but getting a morning shower on GhostRider was an experience to behold. A lot of indoor places like the saloon are packed, and full of pails to catch leaks in the old structures.

Noticed crew working on the lift hill of Twisted Colossus in the 100+ degree heat earlier this weekend... also noticed new work on the pathway between Looney Tunes Land and DC Universe... what could be going on here?

The crowd didn't scatter as usual after the national anthem played… they stuck around for the final ribbon-cutting of Founder's Day in Ghost Town... noticed a lot of YouTubers here. Sad that they're ending Ghost Town Alive early this season before Labor Day. Xcelerator and MonteZooma are running fine with 10 minute waits (in the morning) but Sky Cabin is down...
