We got a $50 parking ticket for parking our car on the street overnight. We had a friend over didnt want them to drive drunk and with limited parking spaces on our driveway ended up leaving our car on the street.

What is the process for disputing? The ticket was given by bylaw (yellow ticket). I know you need to appeal it online-- but do you have to go in person? How easy is it to make your case and have it lowered? $50 feels like a money grab.

And before you come for me... I do recognize that yes youre not allowed to park on the street overnight. But honestly if we are being responsible and not driving drunk its just irritating to be penalized for it.

I recieved a sephora credit online because I accidently booked a make up appointment for the next day and then had to cancel. They charged my credit card a $20 cancellation fee cause i cancelled less than 24 hrs later..when i called in I explained i had mixed up the dates when booking online and they said they could credit me back the $20 through my sephora online account! Which was great!

Its a few weeks later though and I want to purchase something online but I don't know how to use the credit towards the purchase... I can see in my account that I have the $20 in my account but when I look at my checkout cart there is no where to apply a credit (only a reward/promo).

Anyone know how to do this?

Does anyone know an affordable hair stylist that can do simple curl half up do styles for wedding guests.

Hair type medium length, wavy.

Ive reached out to a few salons but everyone is charging me an event price -- and I really just want a simple hairstyle on a budget.

Open to anyone who enjoys doing hair as a hobby (and has some pictures to show their work).

Preferably someone east markham or stouffville.

My kiddo (almost 6) doesnt get a ton of tv time...but when he does he wants us all to watch together.

I find myself so bored with the cartoons he watches and end up scrolling my phone (which makes me terrible I know). I also kind of get overstimulated watching animation.

We've watched alot of kids animated movies-- but im looking for a show we could watch consistently together and both be interested.

Bluey, nature documentaries/animal documentaries, cooking shows are in the mix. We started fuller house but I feel like it was a bit over his head-- but he did like it. (Looking for ideas beyond this).

EDIT AGAIN: wow thanks everyone! Ive added some great suggestions to our list. I cross posted this in a Facebook group and actually someone suggested all the disney shows (us melennials) grew up with....which is great cause I have some recollection of where the show is headed so I can also skip parts that may not work for my kid!

Im staying at the campgrounds during Canada day. Im wondering if you can see the grand bend fireworks from the Campground beach? The shoreline is huge-- so i dont expect to be super close-- but wondering if it would be better to just stay at the provincial park and watch from there instead of heading the the main event site (main beach). I feel like its going to be super busy and chaotic there.

Any firework shows expected in markham or surrounding areas tonight (Monday) evening?
