I just got this little sweetie and named it Galaxy. Don't know if boy or girl yet. Just so damn cute. But I only noticed the nose rub when I arrived home. I let them know and I know it will need neosporin. Its in a quarantine tank. And just took a giant dump and it looked healthy lol

Limon is growing so fast!! Fed him without getting bit this time. He must have been in a mood that day because he was way more chill tonight.

My boy Luz is getting so big and round!! Just wanted to show him off. That is a 4" terracotta saucer he is in.

My little baby Limon just bit me through gloves! Im glad he let go easily because it felt waaay stronger than I was expecting LOL He is a spicy one! My others are so chill and they are much bigger than him lol

How long until I turn into a frog?

I have come to the sad decision of needing to rehome a couple frogs (and a crested gecko) what is the safest way to do this? I know FB market place is not a good idea. They are healthy and growing. One is a bit of a picky eater but he is hungry lol

I am going to look into rescues as well but I know many are full up.

Was feeding my toadlets today and saw that one has developed a little lump on one side of its throat. He is the 2nd smallest of my 4. Still active and eating plenty. Their bugs get powdered with calcium and vitamins. Should I be concerned? They are dwarf malaysian toads, Ingerophrynus parvus, just barely 1" in size.

Ok I have been fiddling with the hard scape again. I am much happier with it now. More digging space and more climbing space. And everything is more stable so no risk of crushing the bb. Still working on the hot spot. Somehw Im hovering at 100. Im not matried to the crystal up there. It almost feels like its not holdibg the heat smh 100w halogen and how is it not blazing hot? Going to switch for more brick and a piece of slate and see if that helps. Or a second 100w but that seems like overkill. Any constructive advice welcomed!

Oh and the hamster thing in the corner is to test if he could lewrn to use a water bottle for hamsters. And as another foraging spot

This my first draft of assembling some stuff I have gathered so far for my uromastyx enclosure. The stacked things will be as they are and some other things will be on top of the substrate so that there are burrowing opportunities. Already testing the lamps on the left side. I had it at 120-130 but then I reconfigured the stack. So will be checking that as things change. On the right side I wanted to have at least one spot for a plant. I know it probably get destroyed but he will probably have fun doing it any suggestions? Or things you know from your experiences with yours?

I saw an allegedly 14 yr old female "yellow" uromastyx that was surrendered and up for adoption on morphmarket. I put in my inquiry about her. Besides usual good husbandry (I have been researching and aquiring what is needed) is there any warning or caveats I should know, as a person who never had a uromastyx (i have other reptiles & amphibians) about getting a lizard this old? Are these her sunset years, is this not old for them really, or anythings she might need for age or things I should not do? I put the photos that the seller had on the listing on my post. TIA

I moved the toads into their bioactive enclosure. And they imediately climbed up high. I have a blue cebu pothos to add to give some more cover. They have all hidden under the cork cave. I hope they are feeling less stressed. In a more natural environment. They are like tiny grumpy gargoyles lol

The crappy hygrometer is temporary. I have a good digital one just need to rig something for it to stand properly.

I think that they think they are tree frogs...😂

Woke up to them perched in the bonsai tree. Except for the tiniest one.

He stayed like this for a long time. Communing with the moon or something lol

Just received some beautiful pods today!! They duckies are SO cute!! And the gestroi are huge and not shy at all! Im so excited for them to grow into a colony! Also got some magic potions but they were hard to get pics of. The last is my note in the package and where I got them from. They were packed lovingly and not a single dead one! All big and healthy!

Noticed the biggest A. vulgar I have seen partying underground with a bunch of other isopds in my cresties enclosure. There are zebras and Cyclisticus convexus (many gravid!) in there as well. And yes that is a fingernail they snack on lol
