I've been into 8 companies. I went onsite for 6 months too. Working in Bangalore. Tried and failed with own SaaS startup in the AI era, just like what a bangalore dev does. Started job again. Knowledge and experience feels obsolete. All these years I delivered code which now I feel is not really production quality. Despite the high pay scale I feel I'm still substandard, with all these AI tools, that feeling became stronger.

I was lucky to secure jobs and land at high pay roles. But my inner self was always suffering with that imposter syndrome.

I project myself as someone who's great but miserably failed at execution of projects. Not sure if people are realising it, but that reality is haunting me at every job. Good leaders pushed me extra for getting the best of me, the average ones said it straight to my face that I lack talent and had to quit a past job with that same feeling. By god's grace I landed at another bigger job but carrying the same burden.

I don't know anything outside IT. Not rich enough to start my own business. Not brave enough to speak with family about this, they think I'm their superstar.

I have that feeling that majority of the industry is full of people like me, just surviving the pay cheque to pay cheque. The average Indian developer. But that doesn't help my inner me.

Seriously trying to get out of this sector, but not sure how.

ఇది ఒక ప్రాంతానికి కాదు చాలా చోట్ల విన్నా. అలా అని చదువు లేని వారూ కాదు. అధికారులు కూడా.

ప్రమాదం ఏమి కాకపోయినా, వినటానికి విసుగ్గా, కొన్ని సార్లు ఎబ్బెట్టుగా ఉంటుంది.

I was driving with my family to some family function in a village. A gang of 12, all aged 15-30 gathered suddenly from all corners and 3 stood in front of my car literally rubbing their dih on my car bonet. 5 others started showing donation boxes and asking for money. I'd say, begging, for money in name of some chanda. I sat without saying word. Without a gesture and expression. They started banging my car. Then shouted, which I can't hear as I didn't down my windows. I just blew horn. They got rage baited. My father told me to give something and leave that place sooner, because of not they'd just throw a stone or break something and it's their place and no one would support us. I gave 10 rs and drove.

Point 1 - should I give? 1000% upto my wish. I can say no.

Point 2 - is it the way to collect chanda - definitely no.

Point 3 - will they use it for God - I bet no.

If they want to celebrate, why should they beg and celebrate?

It used to be cute when some kids used to rush to commuters and ask for chanda - they used to donate some 5 rupees in name of god and festival.

But they're the same kids who turned out to these monsters and threaten people on roads who are not even from that village.

I do pray the same god and celebrate the same festival, but not with begged or blackmailed money.

Chanda culture is turning out to be evil.

What's the fix for this?

Everyone calls Bhogapuram "Vizag’s new airport," but look at the map: it’s sitting right on Srikakulam’s doorstep.

Instead of driving 100+ km through Vizag city traffic, Sikkolu folks will be at an international airport in ~45 minutes straight down NH-16.

This isn't just about easier flights for our NRI diaspora—it's a massive shift for us:

🏢 Industries & Logistics: The Srikakulam corridor is priming for major development.

🏖️ Tourism: Salihundam, Arasavilli, etc temples, and our coastline finally get direct access.

📈 Real Estate: Land values along NH-16 are already moving.

I love vizag in person when I was studying there. But I moved to other places, leaving my love there.

Please shed some more light on this current situation. Getting too many calls when I casually logged in to magic bricks and enquired about houses over there.

Coming from Srikakulam and vizianagaram areas, we people always have this fantasy of buying something in vizag. But we don't know the ground realities. Are we in fomo of all these data centres and job creation hype? Or are we doing the right thing avoiding vizag? What about ground water? Air pollution? Traffic? Rental yields? Etc.

Real-estate people want to sell their stuff. Some native vizag people discouraged outsiders buying there and that led to price mafia. Relatives never tell the truth. Friends are way too inexperienced in this.

Please tell the reality and reason of vizag real-estate. Good/ bad/ugly/just-fomo/too-good-to-miss?
