i feel like since the death of simplyplural, everyone has been so spread out in different apps. i wanted to know what apps you guys have been using, as i've been testing a few and i have my gripes with each of them.

parallax is nice, but barebones. pluralspace is perfect, but it's a web app. open plural is also a web app. plurallog and plural star are offline (i have a partner system and we like to use the friends feature to see who's fronting, i also like to add my system friends). what apps are you guys using? if you know any ones similar enough to simplyplural with an online friend feature, please let me know!

so i messaged my CW yesterday about potentially funding a new mattress, as the one my partner and i sleep on is a cheap, broken spring mattress that has been causing both of us awful back pain. he has EDS and needs a good supporting mattress. i was referred to CCS, who arranged a delivery for a double bed with a spring mattress, which doesn't work for us as we cannot fit on a double and again, the spring mattress is awful especially for my partner's chronic pain. i asked if it would be possible to upgrade to a queen with a foam mattress, and they asked for $600 in cash up front, which, as someone on OW, i don't have. is there any other avenues i can go through here? can i ask my CW to just issue a fund so i can go out and buy a new mattress? if they're trying to charge me $600 for what i need, i may as well go out and get a new mattress at this point. i also don't need a full bed, i literally JUST need the mattress and that's it.

looking for friends!

hello! my partner and i (both 22FTM) are looking to finally branch out and make some friends! we are looking for people in our age bracket that share some similar interests to pal around with, since we only really have eachother right now and it's a little lonely! our interests include :

we're located in southern ottawa, around alta vista. we'd heavily prefer AFAB individuals and women (trans women highly welcome!l) for our safety and comfort. no single cis men.

so, i'm on OW, as we all know. i submit my paystubs in batches in the middle of the month, and for the past three months, without fail, my file has been put on hold because my caseworker keeps thinking i forgot to submit my paystubs. i have to prod her to actually check on my submitted paystubs every single time because she won't check on them herself, and she opts to just put my file on hold rather than looking at them. it's so frustrating, it keeps delaying my payments because my file has to be reactivated and she has to calculate my payments late, and my landlord is beginning to get frustrated with me because i keep paying rent late. is there anything i can do to mitigate this? i feel like i'm at a loss.

hello! i'm a 22 year old male looking for full time work in the st. laurent area. i am not willing to relocate. i've been stuck with part-time jobs that don't pay enough and i'm sick of having to rely on ontario works because they keep screwing me over every single month. i know the job market is rough but i thought i'd shoot my shot here.

i have almost ten years of retail experience, four years of managerial experience, and one year of laboratory experience (as in, genetic studies on animals sort of thing). i don't have any degrees except for a highschool diploma, but i am open to doing paid training courses and certifications.

i would be interested in working with animals but i am a jack of all trades and can do anything except working with food. i'm autistic and high functioning, but i absolutely cannot work with food. i can lift and carry up to 50lbs and do heavy work as well.

i logged onto mybenefits to see what my monthly payment would be this month and my shelter benefits have been completely removed? i had an audit recently and was told there was no changes to my OW eligibility, has this happened to anyone else?
