Last year I helped out at one of my school productions with the lights and mics and stuff, and the guy they hired sayd to me I could email him and I could tag along to some work of his over the summer. that was last summer tho and I didnt do that.

ive finished y13 now and cant find a job so thought I might email him and ask if hes doing anything locally I could help with?

would that be really weird? esp as that was like a year and a half ago now

hi! I finished my a levels a couple weeks ago and haven't touched any work since, but im starting to feel a bit bored. obviously im meeting up with my friends loads and enjoying my summer but I need something to get my brain working.

im starting an undergrad in maths in september. my favourite at a level was pure maths, not applied at all. I dont really know what im asking... but is there anything I could look at/learn about over the summer. I dont really care about getting ahead for uni although I guess that would be good, but something interesting

anyone having extremely vivid dreams ab results day? exams fill your every waking thought?

paper 1 - between 76 and 85

paper 2 - between 95 and 98

paper 3 - between 81 and 86

ive only got applied maths left and im completely exhausted. I literally cant get myself to do any work on it. im so fed up of exams and revision. and its just hit me that school is actually over, for good this time. everything just feels like too much

i predict i got 84 on paper 1 and 98 on paper 2 (edexcel). so from last years grade boundaries id need 74 on paper 3 for an A*. I really hate applied and haven't done any in ages. I could probably get 60 if I sat it right now but I dont really know what to do to revise. Pure I could just spam past papers cause I knew the content but I dont know how to revise when I dont know it already.

hall applications 3rd round go out later and I cant decide what order to put cripps, lenton wortley, and lincoln in. considering derby also but its further from maths.

people aiming for an A* what are we getting on these papers? I got 85 on paper A which seemed decent to me so I skipped to K and I am STRUGGLING. should I be able to do these ones like honestly? I've got about 55% which seems pretty rubbish when im aiming for 90+ on the exams

silly question- the videos of ensuite rooms on the website are all from derby hall. I understand this will vary between halls. are there shower curtains or proper showers in each of the halls ensuites? especially
