Apologies for the title, but that word gets restricted by Automod, it seems.

How do you become an registered account?

My account was made in early-to-mid 2025, has around 50 edits. From what I could gather from Wikipedia guidelines, the rules to become autoconfirmed are 10 edits and 4 days old since first edit. My account seems to fit this, so I am unsure as to why my account doesn't seem to have this status. Is there something else you have to do?

so sad that basically every long covid space is infested with quackery and misinformation/AI hallucination

just kinda what the title says. it’s annoying. I was already disabled and had chronic illnesses before i was gifted covid by an uncaring person (despite masking, still got it at probably a doctor’s appointment i needed to go to or by housemate), so i definitely was not sucked into all that stuff. but it just feels like i can’t have a specific space to really talk about that specific thing i suffer from because it’s impossible to have a good conversation when it’s all ChatGPT convos, naturopaths and chiropractors and what blood tests and full-body MRIs they order, mold, anti-science, etc.

Is there any way to start up and connect an Apple Watch Series 11 to an iPhone running 18.7.8?

Is there any way to start up and connect an Apple Watch Series 11 to an iPhone running 18.7.8?

I bought the new Apple Watch after saving up for it when it was on sale, and I did not know that you seemingly had to be on iOS 26 or above to connect.

I cannot update to that as the Liquid Glass design is not accessible to me because of my visual disabilities. The transparency is both something that makes it very hard for me to see but also triggers my migraines as my eyes attempt to and fail to focus and see things with the transparency behind it. I know there is tinted mode, it’s not enough, it still is not accessible to me. I know people say to use Dark Mode, but I cannot see white text on black backgrounds due to my eye problems. I heard about something with the new iOS they announced today or something, but I don’t know too much about that and if it could disable Liquid Glass, and if it could, when it would even be out.

Is there any way for me to set this thing up on my current iOS, or do I have to return it because Apple simply doesn’t accommodate and/or work well with me anymore?

i'm tired of everything being called hysteria, sorry, anxiety

My psychologist and psychiatrist both agree it's not and that my anxiety is incredibly well controlled to the point where I wouldn't even qualify for a dx of most of my mental health dxs if I went in with my current self for a diagnostic exam. Docs still say I need to "start" going to therapy and get that anxiety under control (I am in regular therapy, and they say it's very much under control). Lab tech who couldn't see the anxiety diagnosis on their end says results are concerning and likely point to an atypical lung issue. Docs take one look at that and just say it must be from the hysteria, oh wait, we don't call it that anymore, the anxiety.
