proof of concept: rubble base
i used cut up sprue and astrogranite to make this, i think it looks cool for a hive city rubble kind of deal for my Nemesis Claw Killteam. Thoughts? When you look at it does it read as rubble?
EDIT: maybe rubble isn’t quite the word I’m looking for. I was intending the sprue bits to be rusted iron, like they’re in the lower zones of a hive city. Night Lords in Necromunda I guess

I just finished Abnett's *The Magos* ... is it crazy to say this is his best work?
Blown away. I listened to the audiobook version that contained a bunch of the Eisenhorn and Ravenor short stories as well, and the actual novel *The Magos* blew me away.
For reference, my favorite of his prior to this had probably been *The End and the Death Vol III*, or maybe *Know No Fear*. I had greatly enjoyed pretty much everything of his I had read, but those were my favorites. I haven't read the Ravenor or Bequin books, and I know the Gaunt's Ghosts stuff is all supposed to be great as well, but wow, the Magos was incredible. Excited to read more of his stuff going forward.

A few months ago I had posted that I had finally finished my Firstborn 40k and Horus Heresy Space Wolves collections.
I have finally completed the other part of my collection! The Primaris Wolves were a joy to paint, and I found my skills leveling up very very fast as I went.
I based them with Armageddon dust and cut up bits of sprue
The official Primaris list is:
-Logan Grimnar
-Ragnar Blackmane
-Wolf Priest
-Wolf Guard Battle Leader
-Lieutenant in Reiver Armor (I kitbashed him inspired by the Space Marine 2 Space Wolves champion)
-Wolf Guard Terminators (Champions of Fenris)
-Wolf Guard Headtakers (Champions of Fenris)
-Bladeguard Veterans (Kitbashed and wolfed up, Blackmanes)
-Wolf Scouts Kill Team
-Wulfen pack with Wulfen weapons
-Wulfen pack with Storm Shields
-Grey Hunter pack
-Jump Pack Assault Intercessors (Skyclaw pack)
-Blood Claw pack
I’m really proud of my work, and I hope it honors Russ and the Chapter.
