Here is the fun fact most people do not know. Auction houses like this one do not just sell construction iron. Boats, RVs, trailers, even aircraft parts show up because businesses and government fleets liquidate all kinds of assets, not just machinery. A crew boat like this was probably used for ferrying workers or gear out to job sites on the water, which is honestly not that different from what a pickup truck does on land. Almost 40 years old and that hull still looks solid. Kind of wild seeing something built for water parked next to stuff built to move dirt.

2002 Fleetwood Discovery, a diesel pusher motorhome that looks like it just rolled out of a campground. Big, clean and honestly kind of out of place in a lot full of dozers and semi trailers. These old Discovery coaches were built to cruise cross country for weeks at a time. Slide out, big awning, polished wheels up front. Twenty plus years old and it still looks ready to hit the highway. Found it on the Ritchie Bros listings while scrolling through the yard and I figured this crowd would appreciate a heavy duty motorhome too.

1995 Cat 140H motor grader, sitting in a parking lot looking way out of place next to those pickup trucks. That massive blade underneath and the long frame stretching out front are what let this thing carve a perfectly flat road out of raw dirt. No other machine really does that job the same way. Almost 30 years old, still wearing its original yellow paint under all the grime. Graders do not get the attention dozers and excavators do but ask any road crew and they will tell you nothing replaces one. Simple machine, does one job, does it better than anything else out there.
