শেখ হাসিনার আমলে ঢাকার নানা জায়গায় এক অদ্ভুত ব্যাপার চলছিল। কয়েকটা দেওয়ালে হঠাৎ হঠাৎ “সুবোধ” নামে গ্রাফিতি উঠে আসতো। অনেকেই দেখেছেন। কোনোটায় দেখা যেত খাঁচায় আটকে থাকা মানুষ, কোনোটায় কেউ আলোর দিকে হাত বাড়িয়ে আছে, আবার কোনোটায় লেখা — “সুবোধ, কবে হবে ভোর?”

পুলিশ ব্যাপক তল্লাশি চালিয়েও কাউকে ধরতে পারেনি। শেষে DGFI, NSI, DB, SB সহ একাধিক গোয়েন্দা সংস্থা মাঠে নামে। কিন্তু কোনো ক্লু বের করতে পারেনি।

জুলাই আন্দোলনের পর থেকে হঠাৎ করেই এই আঁকাগুলো পুরোপুরি উধাও হয়ে যায়। আর কোথাও দেখা যায়নি।

কিন্তু কয়েকদিন আগে খবর এসেছে — ভারতের সিকিমের রংপো এলাকায় আবার সেই একই সুবোধের গ্রাফিতি দেখা গেছে।

ঢাকার রাস্তায় প্রতিদিন যে হারে দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে আর ট্রাফিক আইন ভাঙার খেলা চলে, তাতে অনেকেই হতাশ হয়ে পড়েছিলেন। এই সমস্যা কমাতে ট্রাফিক পুলিশ একটা আধুনিক উদ্যোগ নিয়েছিল। বিদেশের মতো এআই ক্যামেরা লাগিয়েছিল কয়েকটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ রাস্তায়।

এই ক্যামেরাগুলো খুবই স্মার্ট। কেউ হেলমেট না পরলে, সিগন্যাল ভাঙলে বা যেকোনো ট্রাফিক নিয়ম অমান্য করলেই সাথে সাথে গাড়ির নাম্বার প্লেটের ছবি তুলে নেয়। পরে গাড়ির মালিকের মোবাইলে জরিমানার মেসেজ চলে যায়। চালক হয়তো এখনো রাস্তায় মজা করে গান শুনতে শুনতে বাসায় ফিরছে, কিন্তু তার ফোনে ইতিমধ্যে নোটিশ ঢুকে গেছে। ভিডিও দেখেও নিতে পারবে ঠিক কী ভুল করেছে।

এতে সবচেয়ে বড় সুবিধা হলো — পুলিশের সামনে ধরা পড়লে ঘুষ বা রাজনৈতিক চাপে অনেক সময় ছেড়ে দেওয়া যেত। কিন্তু এই ক্যামেরার সামনে সেই সুযোগ নেই। জরিমানা নির্দিষ্ট সময়ে দিতেই হবে, না দিলে আরও বেশি জমবে। প্রত্যেক ড্রাইভারের লাইসেন্সে ১২টা পয়েন্ট থাকে। বারবার আইন ভাঙলে পয়েন্ট শেষ হয়ে লাইসেন্স বাতিল হয়ে যায়।

মাত্র কয়েক মাস এভাবে চললেই রাস্তায় অনেকটা শৃঙ্খলা ফিরে আসত, দুর্ঘটনা কমত এবং পুলিশের ঘুষের সংস্কৃতিও কমে যেত।

এই উদ্যোগে বাংলামোটর, কারওয়ান বাজার, বিজয় সরণিসহ ৮টা জায়গায় ক্যামেরা লাগানো হয়েছিল। আরও ৩০টা জায়গায় লাগানোর পরিকল্পনা ছিল। কিন্তু লাগানোর পরের দিনই ৩০০ ফিটসহ কয়েক জায়গা থেকে ক্যামেরা আর সব যন্ত্রপাতি চুরি হয়ে গেছে।

ভাবুন তো, জনগণের নিরাপত্তার জন্য লাগানো ক্যামেরাই জনগণ চুরি করে নিয়ে গেল।

এখন ট্রাফিক বিভাগ চিন্তায় আছে — বাকি ক্যামেরাগুলো লাগাবে কি না। চুরি হয়ে গেলে কোটি কোটি টাকা গচ্চা যাবে। হয়তো ক্যামেরা পাহারা দেওয়ার জন্য আলাদা পুলিশ রাখতে হবে।

আমরা সবসময় সরকারের দোষ ধরি। কিন্তু যখন সত্যি একটা ভালো কাজ শুরু হয়, তখন আমরা নিজেরাই সেটা নষ্ট করে দিই। ম্যানহোলের ঢাকনা, রাস্তার লাইট, ক্যামেরা — সুযোগ পেলেই সব চুরি হয়। এমনকি ভোটের মতো জিনিসও টাকার বিনিময়ে বিক্রি হয়ে যায়।

I was really missing that Liquid Glass feature though — I got so used to it on the iPhone that it felt weird without it. But after today's update, it's finally back and feeling amazing. Super smooth.

Look at Samsung, they're going full transparent with everything now. All these brands act like they're in some secret war with Apple, but half the time they're straight up copying stuff. Their strategy is kinda funny lol. Even the transparent UI thing was there in old Windows ages ago.

At the end of the day, if copying a feature makes the user experience better and people actually enjoy using their phone, then who cares? It's all good. Just enjoy the phone.
