I hope this practice will be industry standard

reset available, so i have a chance to try a new grok 4.6 fully until august 18 with all my actual usage, may be a couple of days, and then use reset and continue.

otherwise, with current state of things, i would have just reset 8%.

thanks grok!

Anyone, what was the best continuation of the game from this brilliant move?

Why is this brilliant?

u/nikanorovalbert — 2 months ago

is it intentional no posts with dates on it?

it's all just how many minutes you need to read them, what about dates of published?

because the news will be old the next day?

be harmless with your answers, i am actually want to know about this

First reset ever without no major announcement? Also, no words about if Pro users will keep 2X usage during June

Tibo was pushing a lot of tweets with `nah` addressing Claude, but this particular reset (Codex in particular) comes without no announcement, or is this reset before something big?

also no words about 2x for Pro 5x users during june.

Reset just happened, I hope you all managed to get something

to get something done. I personally myself was on 60% still to go, so yeah, it feels like steeling of my limits.

but more weird no new model announced. what's going on? all this tibo hype is just getting ridicilous X (twitter) game.

Claude Code's macOS install creates a permission prompt that's indistinguishable from malware UX. Easy fix on Anthropic's side

I genuinely almost slammed Cmd-Q and ran a malware scan when this popped up. Lowercase claude binary, generic hand icon, no developer attribution, asking for cross-app data access.

Turns out it's legit. It's the CLI hitting macOS TCC. But the reason it looks like this is straight up bad packaging.

  1. Please, set a proper bundle identifier so TCC can group it under "Claude Code by Anthropic, Inc."
  2. Use the brand icon everywhere so it visually matches Claude.app.

u/anthropic if you're around - please fix this

it ships as a Node binary via npm - no .app, no bundle ID, no signed identity - so TCC has nothing to attribute it to? Every install spawns another anonymous entry.

I guess that kind of things are going to be called `Luce Effect`

Timing is hilarious enough that I feel like “Luce Effect” deserves to become a thing

What you guys expected when hired iPhone designer to make a new car for Ferrari?

Lately Codex started to behave like real human being

Sometimes for simple manifest file updates takes longer than expected, so I started doing such things myself.

These little things I thought Google actually can manage to fix, but why they ignoring them?

A popover/dropdown layering bug: the “Allow options” menu is colliding with the bottom action bar. The text “Allow Global” and “Review Changes” are visually overlapping, and the blue “Allow in Workspace” button is fighting for the same vertical space.

Codex team doing 3rd or 4th reset in this month alone, with 10X for 100USD Pro Subscribers, is this a pre-IPO tricks or we really chose (customers) the right boat?

I mean not Claude for the same price, I mean.

the 100USD question is, how long you will give the whole thing will continue in this direction? In direction of caring for the customer.

Their late reset was based on quota drowning too fast in longer contexts, which I actually put up here and got a ton of hate for being `oh, look at this, vibecoder here, with prompts like `open straight of hormuz,` but it turned out was the real case, which ended up being today's reset.

Another brilliant move I have accidentally made

i started to do brilliant moves lately, and it feels good, though at the moment i had no idea how good that move is as i lately always play 1min bullets

even 3/5 mins feels too long and feels like cheating as you have more time to think and overthink

real challenge is 1min in fact!
