Are IGL participants going to be influencers going forward?

In S1, most participants were randos, therefore the name "Latent".

Seeing more "influencers" or industry insiders or just planted contestants these days. The north east participant is a popular influencer and her manager posted this and also spoke about "working" in the episode

Does Airtel WiFi have any escalation mechanism?

I am getting internet connectivity issue ("link failure") every 7-10days. Now, the problem is if I complain to the local guy, they will say link failure or issue is there.

If I create a ticket, they will close the ticket when issue is resolved (in 12-24 hours). Because, in speed issues like these, the issue gets resolved eventually. The problem is the repeat happenings.

Is there a way to escalate?

Any tools that can automatically add graphics and text animation over talking videos?

I am recording videos for LinkedIn and YouTube. I want a tool that can add motion graphics is specific places automatically. For example, text motion graphics or some element animation. With AI.

I know a motion graphics editor can do this. But, for general purpose videos, are there any tools to do this?

Beware of HitLabs copyright free music (they will copyright strike you)

I don't use YouTube much but for a video I uploaded, I downloaded the music from HitsLab's official pixabay account.

They say No Copyright Royalty free in their youtube channel bio and also their Pixabay account but I got a strike twice through Haawk.

I tried to read about it and other people have also faced similar. Grade A a--holes.

Gives you another good important lesson to get music from trusted sources to not have issues randomly show up.

"Feeling a little nostalgia thinking about my childhood"

I know "nostalgic" is a better word but is "nostalgia" still correct? I am using it as a noun

A wrestling trope that seems ridiculous

There are many wrestling tropes and we have accepted them as the part of the show. One particular that I feel is ridiculous is when an ally accidentally bumps on someone and this because a cause for rivarly/fallout even though the wrestler has time to look back into the footage and be more than clear that the bump was unintentional.

Rewatching TMKOC old episodes as an adult + Chandiramani flat arc

I used to watch TMKOC as a teenager while having dinner (the reason why I had dinner at 8:30pm). Anyways, I have started watching TV again when eating and decided to give TMKOC old episodes another shot.

Before watching this, I was watching Sumeet Samhal Lega while eating. I have seen other sitcoms (US ones) and also some indian ones as well.

The first thought was the episode pacing and filler content. As I switched from Sumeet Samhal Lega which has amazing pacing and to the point content, this one was a little hard to adjust to. SSL has one story arc every episode. You know how it is on TMKOC. I remember TMKOC having a lot of filler and dragging storylines in later episodes but even the older episodes drag in today's standards. For example, Jetha brings gifts, he will then go to everyone's house to give the gifts and all of the interactions would be shown.

Second. Babita ji arc. In Bhabhiji ghar par hay, both the male characters are shown to be harami types and they get their comeuppance at the end of each arc. While in TMKOC, Jethalal's simp behavior gets normalized and he is also shown as a good guy otherwise. This is a little odd to watch in front of family.

The thing with Iyer also makes a little sense. Is it that hard to believe that a well to do "scientist" got a trophy wife, the sassy Babitaji who (if I am not wrong) barely does household chores or outside work? For how intelligent and successful he should be (as per his knowledge in various fields), he gets way less respect among the society members. Racism?

Next. Bepuji. I think Bepuji is the most polarizing character of the show. He has some great funny moments and the actor is amazing but his gyan moments and controlling nature is a bit weird. But I do understand it. Jetha controls Daya so naturally someone who controls Jetha is needed to balance the scales. The Chandiramani flat thing was hilarious though. Jetha has many flats and Bepuji doesn't intervene. Bepuji never stops Jetha before things go out of control. Bepuji also comes to the auction. Only when Jetha is about to lose money out of ego, Bepuji intervenes. It is also stupid that people take him seriously but I guess some suspension of disbelief is needed.

Also, let's talk about Daya bhabhi. I think nostalgia has saved the character because the actor has been unavailable for almost a decade now. Daya's arc, her accent, her repeated "hey maa mataji" has aged exteremely poorly. Even my mother things Daya is cringe now. Considering she watches other Indian soaps, this has to be taken seriously haha. (She also watched the earlier episodes when I used to watch).

The festival arcs are also filler but I don't watch them.

Some other elements of the show that you have take with a little suspension of disbelief.
- Jetha is generous with money (in right causes) but he will refuse salary increments for his poor and loyal workers. Jetha also delays maintenance check
- Jetha is shown as a good guy but will simp for neighbour. He also shows creepy behavior (swimsuit arc). Not even Mehta gives him a pep talk.
- Bepuji gyan

How long before govt. comes after US/World market investors?

They already cut mutual funds a long time back.

I think the reason they haven't done anything for direct investors (GIFT City, INDmoney, IBKR route) is because it is still a niche thing as compliance is a headache. I guess "mutual funds sahi hay" audience does not fall in this category.

However, I am definitely seeing some popularity gain this year for people looking to invest in US and other markets.

Govt has proved that they don't mind taxation and more importantly, retroactive taxations.

How long until they come after this? Or, is the market too small to not worth coming after this?

Hi, I have already purchased private health insurance for my family. Today my father enrolled all of us with govt. provided health insurance.

Is there an issue? AI is saying that a disclosure might be necessary. Is it true?

I have a bad feeling about this. First they screwed with Mutual Funds. GIFT City funds are asking for $5000 minimum which blocks entry for many but the likes of INDmoney or Vested can be started in like even $5.

I think a lot of retailers are concerned now about sideways market and falling INR and foreign markets climbing on the other hand. Right now the tax compliance is the biggest hassle. But..

Govt already screwed with mutual funds. They also put huge taxes on crypto. They also screwed with soverign gold bond. When push comes to shove, I don't think a crackdown on foreign investments is out of question. What do you think?

I finally deposited with INDmoney after not doing it last FY to avoid tax complications. But, I think that was a bad idea. I was also thinking about PPFAS Gift city route but fund level taxation can break compounding. INDMoney is decent. I held off investing during the last downturn (which I regret) as I thought money would take some days to deposit and the market might change.

But, to my surprise, money from ICICI bank got deposited in 15mins. The forex markup is huge and the transaction charges are also not cool. But, IKBR would mean extra tax hassle and risks so I avoided it for now.
