Hello! I apologize if this is a normal thing and I'm just unaware. (Posted on ereader sub and haven't gotten any response yet)
I've returned two 12th generation Kindle Paperwhites and am on my 3rd now contemplating a different ereader for many reasons. One huge one is when I first turn on my kindle, everything is crisp and looks great. Then after a while of reading (not very long, like 20 minutes) certain areas of the screen where the words are will start to look less crisp, borderline blurry. If I change the page its the same on the next. When I turn it off and rub the screen as if I'm cleaning it, it will go away for a minute or two then come right back.
My speculation is this is from Kindles screen not being flush against the e-ink screen (hopefully I explained that well).
Is this normal for e-ink devices or is mine just whack? Is it a Kindle Paperwhite thing? I had a Boox palma for a little bit and it never did this. Also, I'm not sure if I flaired this correctly.

Painted by a foolish mortal...I'm the foolish mortal lol
Does this count as fanart? All handpainted by me. 😊
This is my first mothers day as a mom so I painted my little family. This is highly based/influenced by a piece I found on Pinterest so credit to I think the signature said Loretta.
This subreddit perfectly describes this look, a random act of makeup. 🐍
This was one of my favorite Halloween looks I've ever done. 💀
Just wanted to share my rings. All stones are moissanite, engagement ring is sterling silver, and the wedding band is 18k white gold. Got both from Etsy. 🤍
I've always said gray but now I'm curious of what others think.
I've always said I have gray eyes. Wanted to see if others agree.
