Mova Z60 warranty question

Does anyone know if the 3 years warranty is provided retroactively?

My use case: ordered a Z60 in November last year in the Netherlands (and got 2 years warranty) and a few weeks it ago it died due to the mop cover failing. Sent it to warranty, after 3 weeks i got a brand new replacement. In the meantime they announced the 3 year warranty.

Now, I'm on the fence and not sure if i would keep the robot going forward considering i paid 1200 for it and now it's valued at 600. I'd rather sell it as brand new, but the question is: does warranty reset, or i just have the remaining 1 year and 3 months? I found conflicting information about this online.

If so, I cannot take the risk of it failing again in X months and getting a replacement again or even worse, breaking 1 week before warranty. My previous bot lasted 6 years and the only weakness it had was the battery.

EDIT: don't get me wrong, the robot was great while it worked, it did a good job, until it started failing due to an optional feature.

It would be nice if it gets a software update where that mop cover can be disabled, or just not fail the whole robot if the cover fails. It's an optional feature and the robot should at least still vacuum. This is possible.

Some company washed my windows while I was on holiday, and I didn't ask for it, of course.

They left me this, demanding 25€ for a service i never asked for.

It's already been weeks since it happened, so the windows are dirty again anyway.

Is this normal?
