How do you keep your heads up when it feels useless? The animals won't stop.

I won't have enough peppers for hot sauce because iguanas are eating them. I won't have cucamellon or gourds.....because iguanas are eating them. I know that's life but it's so disheartening.

My cucamellon looks so sad compared to my beautifully growing gourd.

My first time growing each and I understand cucamellon and are pretty durable. This guy looks kind of sad though and he doesn't want to reach for my makeshift trellis. All it wants to do is wrap around my weeds.

I got my first couple chicken and of course now I want ducks!

It seems raising a baby duck is quite a bit more difficult than a baby chicken. Would you suggest for my first time I start with an older duck? They say 6 to 8 weeks and a duck can go outside and can swim on their own.

I've only done a shallow Google dive on raising baby ducks. Any resources will be appreciated they do seem more difficult than chicken, but so freaking cute.

Edit: seems ducks are messy 😆

Second edit: thanks for all the advice. I think ducks may have to wait until we can afford more property, purely because of the smell.

I was told that if you're picking your Jasmine for tea do it in the morning before it blooms

Wondering if I'm picking them at the right time. Some of these have been sitting out for a day or two that's why they're brown ish

Is it common for ashwagandha to expand in alcohol?

This is only happening with my ashwagandha. It's my first try making a tincture and none of the other herbs are expanding like this.

I know nothing about leather care and I'd like the notebook on the right to be softer like the one on the left. Any tips would be appreciated, thank you.

As a man or as a Netjeru I am very interested in Imhotep. I haven't heard from many people that follow him and any good info is welcome. Thank you

There isn't much information about Imhotep the man, but I thought there was a decent amount known about Imhotep the Son of Path or Imhotep the God.

Any resources you know of I'd be very interested. I'm struggling to find much.

I've been struggling with intense bouts of rage in the late afternoon. It's upsetting because I don't like what it does to the people around me. I was an angry kid, but I was told a lot of that came from my seizure medicine. I've been off that med for years now and things were fine. Now it seems to be back for like an hour after work. Even when work was easy.

Edit: thank you all for your responses. They have given me some deeper insight and the ideas are great.
