Putting all the effort in, I’m tired and it’s making me depressed

My internet friend of 10 years (we first met
4 years ago and then 2 times after that) hasn't been replying to my messages. I understand everyone doesn't need to
access to people 24/7 and have their own lives but I'll explain.

I'm trying to plan a trip to London (she's from up north) and to book a hotel as soon as so we can get it cheap because it's a while away. It's for a show mostly but then to meet up with another friend in London and go to museums and just hang out etc.
I have ADHD (combined type) and suspected autism and she's also got both I think (she's definitely autistic as she's told me) and I've explained to her that I like to have a structured plan and gave her a deadline to let me know and me and my mum will just go together for the night then come back home (we have animals so we can't be gone overnight)

She's currently pregnant with her second child and is mostly a full time carer for her non-verbal autistic child (she worked weekends when she wasn't on maternity
leave).

Part of me wants to keep trying and knows we're still friends but part of me wants to say "screw it" and throw out friendship
away.

I've always been the friend to reach out and make plans and I was a people pleaser.
This one friend in secondary school would forget to set an alarm, not wake up to an alarm or just not reply to my messages asking where she is, this happened more times then I can count.

Then a friend from a support group I was planning to meet up with but I couldn't meet up in town but said I can only meet halfway and I can't remember most of the convo as I've blocked it out but basically it ended with him saying "you're so rude, no wonder you haven't got any friends"

I guess this is part of the reason why I'm feeling this way- triggered. Upset. My inner child hurting etc

My last message to her was "I know you've got a lot going on but just tell me if you don't want to be friends anymore"

Need some advice

Sorry if this isn’t allowed, thought it’s best to ask on here as I’m sure most of us are neurodivergent and have internet friends :P

Me and my internet friend (we’ve met 3 times so not really an internet friend anymore but ANYWAYS?) are planning to see Dan and Phil together at the last London show in Feb and say a few nights after that week exploring and hanging out in London (we normally go to museums and stuff). I’m always the one arranging the plans (which I don’t mind at all because I like to know what we’re doing at what time on what day as that’s my flavour of autism+adhd) but I just want her to say that everything is okay.

Since our last trip she’s got pregnant and married but now I feel left out which I know is a totally valid feeling but I was always of the “top of her list” in terms of being there/looking after her. I’m happy she’s happy but it’s hard to “let go” in a way.

2 years it’ll be since we last had our London trip (she’s from up north so I want to make sure the trip is “worth it” and last time if we were late for something I arranged like an exhibit she’d not be fussed about getting there on time, but as soon as it’s something she really likes (me and her Husband paid for her to see Hamilton which I’m not fussed about but I know how much it means to her so I went along with it and paid £100+ for my own ticket) it’s rush rush rush. Also she took ages to get ready in the morning (she’s goth so I get it but waiting around is so boring/stressful and I need timings with my autism+adhd otherwise I feel really understimulated/overstimulated like loads of energy is inside of me)

So our tickets for DNP were £231.50 in total (silver, with booking fees etc) and I got them, she’s left me on delivered when I’ve asked to pay me back. And I’m not sure what days we’re booking the hotel for as she needs to find out what days her husband can get off work to look after the kids (one of which is SEN) but I’ve asked so many times and she said she’ll ask her husband (after asking her loads of times) Also she’s pregnant atm with her second so my thinking is she’s going to have zero time to chat about plans when the baby arrives.

Part of me understand that we all have lives away from our phones 100% (I wish I could live without a phone) and she has her own life but the other part of me just wants to say to her if I don’t have the money or the days we’re spending up in London by [DATE] then I will be going on my own (or something like that). Because I’m tired of reaching out to her having to remind her of this trip we’re planning. I’ve had people in the past ignore me on purpose and not follow through with plans in the past so I have big feelings towards that.

So I guess I’m asking for a way to approach this situation firm but fair?

I’m just scared to say the wrong thing and lose her as we’ve been friends for over 10 years- met on a dnp fb group so these trips to see them are extra special.

Metric Conversions and Units Help

I’m working my way through maths genie (from the very start) and I really don’t understand cm to m, ml to L etc etc.

Can someone explain it as simple as possible?
I know to get a smaller unit you need to divide(??) and to get a bigger unit you need to multiply(??)

I can do trigonometry and Pythagoras easily but this grade 1 topic is confusing me ??

Places to study A-level psychology as a 25 year old?

I’m going to study my maths and English gcse first, want to get a C/5 as that’s the requirement for most places. Do I need to get a C/5 in combined science in order to get into an a-level course? And how many a-levels do I need to get into uni to do psychology (clinical)?

New to all of this as I dropped out of 6th form a few weeks into year 13 due to bad mental health- only recently learnt was UCAS points are 😅

Retaking my maths GCSE at 25, newly diagnosed with adhd and have suspected autism

Context: I had a bad relationship with maths and just school in general, I was bullied and developed an eating disorder in 6th form so I dropped out a few weeks into year 13 (had to retake it in year 12 after failing it in year 11).

Now that I’m in a good headspace and time in my life I want to retake gcse maths with try ultimate goal of becoming a psychologist.

So does anyone (of any age) have any tips that worked for them in school/further education?

Working for X amount of time and music motivates me (unless I’m distracted by the music :P)

Also I’m going with the Open Study College so if anyone has any experience with them please share :)

Part of me was thinking that maybe I’m not a maths person but this’ll be the only subject I’ll be doing so I can have more time on it and a goal to work towards.

Just scared I’m going to fail

Sorry this was all over the place but you know… adhd :P

Trying to set up specific dates for meetings

Hiya all,

I’m a personal trainer and I’m trying to set up introduction sessions for potential clients. But my problem is that my schedule changes weekly depending on clients, my other job and family stuff (we have a new dog and he can’t be left yet for ages).

Going to start this next month. I want it so it shows potential clients that I’ve got availability say 1st August 8:30am-9:30am then 11th 4pm-5pm.

On the main page “edit meeting type” it says my availability is Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm which is not the case

In schedule, I’ve done working hours, no hours applied, and it says “1 instance of date specific hours. Is there something I’m missing?

Thanks :)

Anyone else in the fitness industry?

So long story cut short, l've been a personal trainer since Jan 2024, was working with a fitness company for a year until they ended their contract with me as I wasn't getting them enough clients (l had my own but they done programmes and helped me keep track of them and we had a

"community" as it were). And it was messy and I cut them off as they said it was my choice to leave publicly which made them look like the good people.

Anyways that made me really question everything and wondering if I could do it and imposter syndrome etc etc.

One of the people I used to work with had adhd (undiagnosed but I picked up on certain things they would do that is similar to me) and they didn't understand that I get overwhelmed easily and they gave me some stuff to do that wasn't overwhelming to them but really a lot to me.

I can't remember the last time I wasn't overwhelmed with work (which really isn't a lot but again, feels like so much to me

Now I'm starting anti-depressants tomorrow And idk I guess I'm looking to see that I'm not alone.

Being anxious about tomorrow (nighttime anxiety)

Before I begin I‘ve been diagnosed with ADHD (combined type) and have suspected autism and waiting for a diagnosis.

So recently I have been feeling really anxious at night and with the transitions of going up to bed. There is steps and things I have to do before I can get into bed like putting our animals into bed, brushing my teeth. Then on work days it’s preparing breakfast and sometimes lunch and my uniform etc and then I worry about anxiety about being late to work or forgetting to set my alarm or forgetting something else. On my days off I’m worried about “wasting” my day so when I lay-in late I feel like I’m “behind schedule“ but also I don’t want to set an alarm because I feel like at times (7-8 times out of 10) I wake up in a panic, not necessarily a panic attack, maybe an anxiety attack but mostly my heart beating faster and feeling it more without putting my hand on my chest. I just don’t like uncertainty and I always have to know what the “plan” for the day is

Just wondering if any fellow neurodivergent anxious individuals feel like this?

Another note is that I do attend therapy every 2 weeks with a lovely therapist and I have a session this week but just want outsider advice for people can relate

[fully lost] Crayon-Like drawing tv show from the early 2000’s

When I was younger I watched this show occasionally, me and mum still quote “and peacock fell over” from the show. This is all the details we could come up with together (this was >20 years or so ago now)

It’s a UK preschool/kids TV show that was narrated by an older British man or it could have been a woman? The art style was simple, child-drawn 2D art style. Background wise it had green grass, blue sky, minimal backgrounds crayon drawings (like how you would draw the grass with sky as a kid) Human child character maybe…?
Silent peacock side character
Recurring gag in every episode:
"And Peacock fell over."
Peacock would literally topple face-first into the grass for no reason, unrelated to the story. Like he moved one foot back and lost balance

Not bothered about the child character, it’s just the peacock I want to know about :P

Any help in solving this mystery is much appreciated !!

[partially lost] Snowy: Space Trip

I've been looking online to potentially play this game from my childhood again, I've found this website online here, scanned it though a NordVPN link checker and it came back fine but I was wondering if anyone has found and downloaded a copy of the game at all?

I remember playing it on an old Windows version and I was able to find the actual name of it a few years back, I would love to play it again to re live childhood nostalgia. You play as a polar bear that wears a spacesuit and a backpack holding a suction thing (like the end of a hoover). Green aliens that are similar to the toy story ones.

You start off coming out of this rocketship, you have to collect the aliens with the suction thing and then they follow you. You have to get the aliens back to the rocketship. There were also enemies and if they hit you, you respawn coming back out of the rocket ship. There were also ladders you could climb up and down

[Partially Lost] Kellogg's Golden Nuggets Game with ads?

Searching for an online game that featured Kellogg's golden nuggets and potentially other Kellogg's cereal brands.

Year: early 2000-2011, I don't remember being older then 8

Graphics: the best way I can describe it, is like an animated tv show, it wasn't blurry, in fact it was pretty high quality for back then. 2D cartoon artwork?

Other details: remember its a 3rd person game where you were looking at the back on a minecart (which was on a track) (or it might of been this style of minecart here) with the golden nugget's mascot/character in it. It was set in a desert like this video here. he minecart would take you to this screen with the advert for the cereal- I believe it was just a photo of the cereal.

Before I posted this I had a deep dive and I believe it's this here and the original website (I'll type with spaces) was www . fantasyworldoffun . com. advert archive here. I remember the "runaway mine" and maybe the map? I've looked on the wayback machine and there are captures relating to my time frame, but they are just stuck on 100% loaded. I'm assuming the minecart I mentioned above was in relation to travelling from area to area...

This was very jumbled up so apologies, is there any way I can play it online/see the website at all? Or will it remain partially lost?
