Looking for a nice place to stay in Manali

Hey guys!

I’m planning to come to Manali for around 15 days and work remotely from there. Basically looking for a little escape from the usual routine — I’ve had a rough couple of months and just want to spend some time in the mountains, get my work done peacefully, and relax in between.

I’m looking for a place that has good WiFi (important because of office calls 😅), a nice view, and preferably somewhere peaceful where I can sit and work without too much noise.

I don’t really mind whether it’s a hostel, homestay, guesthouse, Airbnb, etc. I’m more interested in finding a nice, comfortable place with good mountain views and a chill vibe.

If you’re from Manali or have stayed there for a couple of weeks, please suggest some good places/areas! Also happy to hear about any hidden gems that might not show up on the usual Airbnb/Booking searches.

Just want to work, look at the mountains after work, drink some chai and hopefully come back feeling a little more human 😂

Any recommendations would be really appreciated! ❤️

Looking for Something Genuine

I'm 25M and just trying to find a genuine connection that could turn into something serious. Dating apps honestly feel exhausting as I mostly found either scammers or people who aren't really looking for anything real, so thought I'd try here instead.

I work full-time in IT and life's pretty sorted on that side.
Outside of work, I'm into gaming, random road trips, and lately trying to learn cooking.

Would prefer someone from North India, but more than anything just looking for someone genuine and easy to talk to.

If this feels relatable, feel free to drop a message

Planning a Madhyamaheshwar Trek

Hi everyone!

I'm planning a DIY trip to Madhyamaheshwar between 24th and 28th June and had a few questions. I'd really appreciate advice from locals, frequent trekkers, or anyone who has recently done the trek.

  • From where in Rishikesh can I get a bus or shared taxi to Ransi Village, and what time do they usually start operating?
  • Is it possible to leave Rishikesh around 6–7 PM and reach Ransi around midnight? Are shared taxis available in the evening/night?
  • Would it be practical to stay in Ransi overnight and start the trek early the next morning?
  • Are there any facilities in Ransi to leave extra luggage/backpacks while doing the trek? Do homestays or guesthouses usually allow luggage storage for 2–3 days?

Thanks in advance! 🙏

25M here, just looking for chill people to squad up with on Warzone and have a good time. I mostly play casual Resurgence, but I’m always down for some BR chaos too. No sweat, just good vibes and fun games.
