ive tried EVERYTHING thats been recommended to me. terro liquid ant baits, the spray which i stopped doing once i got my cockatiels cause they are very sensitive to aerosols, ive tried sugar and baking soda, vinegar, diatomaceous earth in its powder form, i even tried it mixed with water, dish soap and water, i even tried boiling water. THEY WON'T GO AWAY!!!!! i cant find the food source, ive been spraying with soap and water to get rid of their scent trails like once a week, sometimes more, ive been cleaning the house 2x as much, i cant even find where their colony is or anything. im so tired of these ants help!!!!! a pest terminator of some sort is way out of budget and i just cant do that anyway because of my birds, plus i have a bunch of other animals so i really really do NOT want to do a bug-bomb. let me know! thanks in advance.

little brother decided to grab a praying mantis from outside, we live ina desert. and put him into a container, i made a little container with dirt from outside, plants from outside, rocks and sticks from outside, and put mesh on the top of it and taped it to the container. how do i get food for this little guy and anything else i need to know? htanks.

15mtf, turning 16 this year. i used to live at my dads house, then i think last year we moved to another house because of family issues, i now live with my 5 year old brother, 21 year old brother, mom, and grandmother. i went to the psychiatrist a little while ago, she asked me if i had any trauma, so i told her i was SA'd from around 1st-3rd grade. i didnt tell her about what my father did to me, as that is too close. she told me she was a mandated reporter, so i just accepted that. the assaulter moved back into town a while ago and i see him every now and then around town, but we never speak directly. he never tries to contact me or anything. on tuesday, a social worker stopped by the house as me and my grandmother were leaving to go to town, and asked if my mom was home. she was not, so she gave my grandma a card, told my mom and she called her. told us to come by the office on Thursday, so we did. the social worker talked to us each alone, and had me list details about what happened. then she told my mom that she was going to stop by the house on Friday to inspect it. we had already cleaned the house Tuesday, but we cleaned it even more Thursday. we all are used to living in a dump where nobody cleans because we used to live with a lot of people and everyone would just put it off. were still getting used to having to actually clean and upkeep with stuff. but because of all of this cps stuff, my mom and brother said i cant go visit my older brother (the one still living with my dad at the old house) for another like, half a year because of this. do i really need to wait that long? when can i safely go over there?

+ my moms not allowing me to have the EBT card for whatever reason but because of the cps stuff, what i told psych. i feel like shes overreacting, plus my entire family is pissed at me. what else was i meant to do? tell my psych that i have no trauma and pretend life is all fine and dandy? pretend that what happened to me in the past hasn't affected how i see every day and go about it?

i have faded green in my hair rn, ive done 2 rounds of dye remover before realizing that it will in fact not work. i want to do a different hair dye style, and i cant because of the green. i heard of putting red on to neutralize the green, but will i be able to get rid of the red/brown afterwards? if i can, how do i go about it? i want to do a black with a rainbow. naturally blond, if that helps.
