I hate to be stereotypical but it is mostly Audi drivers I’ve experienced this with.

I got beeped at 0.1 seconds after a light had turned green on a roundabout… after that I was followed for a good 10 miles, with this bumhole of an Audi driver practically a pillion behind me. He spent a brief period swerving and flashing at me before just following me stupidly close.

In hindsight I could’ve pulled over to let him by but in those sort of stressful situations it’s not always the first thought. Especially as I’m not as experienced as most.

I’m also on a 125 so I can only speed up so much to gain distance between me and this car.

Really puts me off getting behind my bike sometimes when people drive like absolute knobs.

I used the recommended fill lines on the packet and then put it in the microwave. But it was like 4-5 spoonfuls full at best. I swear you used to be able to get half a bowl out of one sachet only a few years ago. Quaker pls.

Every website I try to make despite however much of a description I send to Codex.. the designs always come out with that horrible Mono blocky font with the italicised brown font below it.

Even if I said to create the website using the bootstrap framework it’ll still somehow create something that looks like absolute doo doo. I’m also using the frontend .skill so is not like I’m just raw dogging codex.

I’ve been on L plates for about 2 years now on my 125. I ride my bike to get to places within half an hour to an hour at most. I think the furthest I’ve ridden is about 50 miles.

I recently redid my CBT and I was wondering if there was a moral limit to how long I should be on L plates. I’m happy to take my test and I’m confident enough. But it’s way too easy to get comfortable and remain on L plates especially if you only use your bike as a runner.

Although I would like to try motorways at least once. A roads are only so good.

One day I will be working on my codebase with absolutely no problem.. working through problems like a light breeze, (fable has been great until today).

Then the next day it’ll be as if I’ve been switched to its lobotomised twin. Where “task is done” seems to be said in jest. I’ll open the project up and more things will be broken than working. Things that are claimed as fixed are completely hysterical hallucinations. I sit here like “flagship model my ass”.

I understand that models can be re-routed but today Fable has felt like I’m using Gemini with one less chromosome. Makes me want to bash my head on the desk. Just do the thing I ask you. Christ on a bike.

What is the definition of “just going for a ride”.. or “just get out on your bike”?

I love riding so much but I just don’t have any direction with it. I don’t have friends or other people to see besides family, who are working 24/7. Do people “just go out for a drive” in their cars? I tried meet-up groups but we just sat around on chairs and talked about random shit. It was quite boring.

I have to also carry my gear everywhere I go if I need to take it off. It’s heavy and cumbersome.

Every single time. I’ll sit down and get ready to eat food and my cat will do the stinkiest, most inhumane poo known to cat kind. Blessing my nostrils not with the beautiful smell of food, but the beautiful smell of bowel movement.

I come on here to see any updates regarding Fable but after a few minutes scrolling, I feel like I’ve walked into a chronically online fanclub.

People are just spouting the most dysfunctional stupid “the end is near” style opinions and spamming “trust me bro” posts citing absolutely no sources.. and the comments lap it up and kiss the shoes of the OP, like the information is pure gold.

So many people here and in other ai subreddits have some sort of parasocial relationship with Dario and Thibault(Tibo). Referring to them like they are a friend in real life. I don’t know if it’s just the hordes of children here or I’ve just outgrown any sort of mental understanding of the Reddit populous. Or both.

Also what’s with the posts where people are creating apps and skills that solve a *problem* that Anthropic themselves had fixed months ago, or it already exists within the community, and is rated highly on GitHub.

Feels like I’m watching the Enshittification of the human psyche.

I get that it’s hot but I can’t help but cringe when I see someone riding without or with very minimal gear. Especially when they are on a sport bike

I’ve got family members who were in the services that now have mental issues compounded by the amount of RTCs they’ve gone to where someone on a motorbike has died, because they decided to go out without the proper attire. Turning themselves into a meat slab.

Why risk it? Is it really worth it? Even if it’s only a trip to the shops or something

Every year it just feels like we walk more and more into the path of idiocy. Politics starts to feel less like a system designed to keep the country rolling and more like a reality tv show.

Ideals that would be better suited to Love Island or I’m a Celebrity live longer than rational thought and sensibility. Protests are now just an excuse to beat your neighbour up and throw bricks at police cars. Viewpoints are solely defined by the 1s and 0s of an algorithm rather than in our own minds.

How am I supposed to wake up every day with any sort of joy when I’m surrounded by people dressed in metaphorical clown makeup.

I just want to live a normal boring life and enjoy time with my family and friends in the finite amount of existence we have. I don’t want to constantly fight a battle of “what stupid shit has happened today”. To see an absolutely heinous poisoned idiot become more favourable to power over 69.5 million people than a boring but sensible politician, is actually making me quite sad. Just because he looks like a walking caricature and said “skibidi spider”.

I love this country with all my heart and it’s a brilliant beautiful place and we have so many things to be grateful for and happy for. I just want people to be able to look after it for the next generation and ourselves.

Lately this sub and many others dedicated to LLMs have become eye wateringly painful to browse at times.

There are so many people posting “I just solved world hunger” type stuff that are just skills or plugins that were already available through Claude or you could call through an MCP.

So many people making “Gaben please” style posts asking for resets like the big AI tech gods are their homies.

So many people are actively complaining about usage, when in the palm of their hands they could ask their favourite agent what’s causing usage issues and retroactively fix it. I’m guilty of it myself but I’ve managed to set aside a whole thing with guardrails simply by asking AI.. and now my usage is as good as it’s going to get from my side.

Then there are the attempts at humour.. That make me feel like an old man. Like I’ve just walked into a classroom full of high schoolers just hootering and hollering “67”.

All I’m seeing is “Codex bad, Codex dropped the ball, Codex is awful, Codex gave my dad an ingrown toenail and aids”.

Are these just botted posts? There are so many of them. I’m guilty of it myself but I don’t sit here all day crying about how bad LLMs are and saying “the end is near” constantly.

Surely more and more people are going to get pissed off that even just simply planning a current or new project with Fable, can knock 20-30-40% off of your 5-hour limit in less than 10-15 minutes and effect your weekly limit a-lot. Let alone doing code audits or refactoring.

There’s so much potential but these limits are like letting a kid take one single bite of an ice cream, and then throwing it in the bin.

Not everybody can afford a 20X plan either so its made even worse in that regard. Even with RTK, Caveman Ultra and compressing my .md files as much as i can. It doesn’t really make a difference for me. Im having to do code sweeps every 4 hours to get anything done and im constantly manually compacting.

Its going to cost enterprise clients an absolute fortune.

Ordered some food the other night. Expecting a bloke called “Dave” in a Honda accord to turn up according to what was on the uber eats app. Person that turns up is actually “Sandra” in a Vauxhall Astra… I don’t get it, how is something like this allowed to happen?

Several times now I’ve ordered something and the person on the app isn’t who turns up.

How do I know what I’ve ordered hasn’t been tampered with or changed hands on the way to my address? Ridiculous.
