Zinger popcorn chicken
Who thought this was a good idea? It tastes terrible; the previous habanero sauce was much better. I ordered a regular, but I could only eat three pieces. It was sour and salty.

Always love doing deliveries for this spot. Not only are the arrangements absolutely stunning (look at those colours!), but getting to meet the shop cat is easily the best perk of the job.
If you're in the area and need some gorgeous flowers, definitely check them out. 10/10 delivery experience every single time!
Last post was too difficult
Here’s one that maybe easier.
We talk a lot about bad rates, bad merchants, and awful GTA traffic. But I wanted to share the one thing that actually makes this job worth it for me (besides the paycheck): the pets.
As a driver, I treat my route like a business, but meeting animals along the way is my therapy. Whether it’s a dog looking out the window, a shop cat (shoutout to the one at Sweet Pea!), or even a reptile, it always boosts my energy.
Waving at a dog through a window for just 10 seconds can totally reset your mood after a stressful pickup and getting to pet a friendly animal (with the owner's permission) is like a shot of caffeine for the rest of the shift.
To every customer who lets us say hi to their pets: You have no idea how much that helps us get through the day.
After gas, vehicle wear, and traffic, you're essentially working for free.
I do this job because I enjoy meeting people.
My car and my time are worth more than chasing pennies across Mississauga. Hit decline and move on.
What’s the worst low-ball offer you’ve seen today?
Driver Therapy": Why the four-legged recipients are the real MVPs.
We spend a lot of time on here talking about bad rates, bad merchants, and the GTA gridlock. But I wanted to share the one thing that actually makes this job worth it for me besides the money: The "furry" reception committees.
As a professional driver, I treat my routes like a business, but meeting the pets along the way is my version of therapy. Whether it’s a dog waiting at the window, a resident shop cat (shoutout to the one at Sweet Pea!), or even the occasional reptile—it’s the ultimate energy boost.
The Energy Reset: Even just 10 seconds of waving at a dog through a glass door or getting a quick "hello" from a pet can fix a bad mood after a frustrating pickup.
• The Interaction: If the owner allows a quick pet, it’s like a shot of caffeine for the rest of the day.
• The Connection: It reminds you that behind every delivery is a home and a story, not just a GPS coordinate.
To all the recipients who let us say hi to their pets: You have no idea how much that helps us keep going.
I’ve been tracking these offers lately, and the Wednesday slump is real. Just saw another low-ball offer that makes no sense for anyone who actually values their time and vehicle.
As someone who treats this like a professional business—focusing on quality, proper gear, and food safety—it’s insulting to see these rates.
The Wednesday Reality:
• The Offer: High mileage, low pay, and way too many stops for the rate.
• The Math: Once you factor in gas and wear and tear in the GTA, you're basically paying the platform to work.
• The Comparison: I recently handled a high-volume route with 29 drops, and even though the pay was better, the merchant standards were a total nightmare.
I’m seeing a pattern where the "Elite" service we provide isn't being reflected in the offers hitting the app mid-week. I decided to pass on this one. My car and my sanity are worth more than chasing pennies across the suburbs.
Has anyone else noticed the offers getting progressively worse this week? Or is the "algorithm" just testing our patience?
Shoutout to Nonna Lia for actually caring about the "Last Mile" quality.
Back on the road today with a trunk full of Nonna Lia’s tiramisu. 🇮🇹
As an Elite driver, I’ve seen some pretty bad merchant packaging. But Nonna Lia gets it right every time. They provide these high-quality silver thermal bags to ensure the product stays at the perfect temp from their kitchen to the recipient's door.
Whether these are for birthdays, office celebrations, or just a Monday treat, I know they’re arriving in 5-star condition. It makes my job so much easier when the merchant takes as much pride in the delivery as I do.
Current Logistics:
• Cargo: Premium Tiramisu ☕️
• Gear: Merchant-provided thermal protection (The only way to fly).
• Status: Making those "congratulations" deliveries look easy.
If you're a driver, pay attention to the merchants who invest in their packaging—it’s usually a sign of a great partnership.
Forget the Trexity pings—I found a better supervisor at Sweet Pea’s.
While the app was busy sending me $68 "bait" routes across the GTA, I decided to do some local logistics at Sweet Pea's.
If you’re in the West End/Roncy area, this shop is the real deal. I’m a sucker for a well-run local business. The floral arrangements are top-tier, but the real manager is the resident cat.
After dodging "URGENT" pings all through Mother’s Day brunch yesterday, I thought Monday might bring some actual quality. I was wrong.
Just got hit with this "Priority" offer: $68.27 for 90.4 km. Let’s break down why this is a total bait for anyone with an Elite status:
• The Distance: 90.4 km across the GTA is a lot of stop-and-go.
• The Payout: At roughly $0.75/km, this is basically working for free once you factor in the return trip and vehicle overhead.
• The Timing: Expecting me to burn 2.5+ hours on a Monday afternoon for less than $70?
I’m still on "Personal Time" and taking it easy. After my 127 km marathon on Friday, it’s going to take a lot more than a low-ball offer like this to get me to move my car.
Stay firm, everyone. Don't let the "Urgent" labels trick you into taking these garbage routes. 🥂📉
If you get a chance, stop by and indulge in their tiramisu. You won’t regret it.
