I remember watching M.A.S.K. back in the 80s as a kid. Had Tracker's car, the helicopter, and one more (I think the Jeep). When I saw a new release by Image, it took me back. Tonight, going through boxes in the library, I found issue 1 of 4 from the limited series oh so many years ago. I just had to share a picture with y'all who are into this as much as I am.
The last thing I wanted to do was buy and destroy an original copy of this single issue from 1953. So... I printed a scanned copy from the interwebs, stitched it up, and bound it. This was one of the first books I bound myself, and it was originally in a basic yellow bookcloth I found in Amazon. Came out... meh. So I decided it was time to recase it. Removed the book block, cleaned it up, added a decorative fly leaf, endbands, then did some research and figured out how to make my own bookcloth, got the material I wanted, and presto!! Last picture shows the original casing all yellow and rippley on my shelf from the first bind.

Got another one stitched and in the press. 17 issues... biggest one yet!
Spent a few bucks while on vacation LCS hopping between Indiana and PA. In addition to the on-road adventure, I filled a few gaps with deals on Amazon, eBay, and my own home LCS. Once these all get integrated with the single issues either boxed or bound, I will put up some new shelfie pics.
Had some downtime today, so I ended up browsing Wikipedia and stubled upon a page for DC crossover events. I had a ton of them I've collected and read already on other shelves in the library, so I got a burst of inspiration and decided to relocate and integrate them all into the DC Events bookshelf. The moving around of everything is always fun (LOL), and I've expanded to the next level down. "Should" be plenty of room for a few others I've yet to gather, including the entirety of "Year of the Villain."

Finished binding 2 in cloth this week and added them (plus a few other TPBs) to the timeline. Coming along so nicely. I am still planning the end of the year for a deadline to complete the timeline of major events.
Got a few more gaps in the timeline filled in and moved a bunch of books around to fit it all. Not "quite" finished, but I'm still aiming for the end of the calendar year this year. So close!!!
Saw this on eBay and about pissed my pants laughing when I actually read the description all the way to the end of it. This guy is a top-notch "Joker." 🤣

I remember as a kid collecting the first few issues and never went back to it cuz life and what not got in the way. It's been 33 years since I had the first 5 issues. Worked at getting the remaining issues to complete the set and bound them. Finally, I got some time to read the thru. So happy!!

Got a new shelf for the DC Archives finally, threw together the rotator shelf (not yet sorted proper), and moved some things around. The room is coming along and hopefully will be done by New Years.
