My Tolkien-inspired fantasy Ranger

Hi all. I took some time this week to add some weathering to my kit. Mainly the bracers and chest, with some light work on the baldric and quiver. Just needing some opinions- is it too subtle? Should I go harder? I tried to focus on practical and believable wear. Are there any techniques I could be trying?

I did test some slashing wear on the chest the same way I did on the bracers, but I think the antiquing gel I used isn't enough of a contrast on the darker leather. And didn't like the results Any pro tips seasoned cosplayers can give?

The last 2 photos were pre-weathering.

I've been working at recreating my character IRL. What are his stats?

The quiver wasn't cinched up so it's hanging a little low. But I'm pretty happy with it! Still finding time to add more weathering.
