i played this game so much as a kid, im honestly really grateful for the whole shockwave/flash era of gaming. amazingly enough, SpongeBob SquarePants: Flip or Flop is still playable lol, if you google “spongebob squarepants flip or flop itch.io” it comes up. what’s even crazier is you can play it on your phone now😩🤘🏾

i also used to play The Wild Thornberrys Wildlife Rescue nonstop, and honestly i think that was my first real dive into simulation/management games before i got completely sucked into The Sims

I needed to repot my pothos plants, and realized I never named these two.

Before I repotted their vines were super intertwined (took me about 90 mins to completely unravel) and it felt like they would mimic each other, if one was lush, so was the other, if one was wilting, so was the other.

I decided to name them after my favorite pair in the Buffyverse, Chanterelle(Lily) and Ricky. I can’t wait for them to bloom full again🌱

There’s just no bad time to listen to the SH albums, they feed me the serotonin I require to keep on. He had a concert here in LA this year I believe and I missed it - add it to my regrets!!!

when i was like 6 or 7 i met sisqó (yes, the man who made our national anthem, the thong song)

if you know sisqó, you know he was always switching up his hair - red, blue, silver, whatever. at the time i had just seen him performing on All That with silver hair, so in my head that was just… his permanent form

my mom was like “omg it’s sisqó, let’s get an autograph,” and i kept insisting, in front of him:

“that’s not sisqó. sisqó has silver hair.”(his hair was red at the time)

meanwhile this man is just standing there… being sisqó. i don’t fully remember his reaction but i think he was pretty chill about being told he wasn’t himself and still gave me an autograph, tho I do feel like i was skeptical about taking it lmao

Mind you… we’re from the same city, i went to the same high school as him later… so yeah, it was definitely him
